  1. Far too convenient an excuse. imo, he never fully recovered from that injury that he got playing for man u. (against munich iirc ) Fergie to blame. Not Fergie actually. It was Mario Gomez who injured him in that 90th minuted at the Allianz Arena. Considering that this maybe put Bayern through to the next round and now gave Germany a poor Rooney to play against shows why Gomez is worth 30 MIO. Don't think he should have been brought back to play in the 2nd leg. I think Fergie was getting desparate. Wasn't convinced of his efforts to convince the media that he was ready at the time. Just typical fergie bullshitting, that was.
  2. Even when you get thrashed, you're still patronizing to others.

  4. Lets hope Gutierrez gets some game time later on. I´d rather watch him play on the wing for 30 mintues than at right back for 90 minutes. just don't want him to come back with an injury!
  5. Jonas dosen't start. But for some reason Maxi does.
  6. Nick Collins on SSN "The german wall wasn't back 10 yards for Lampard's free kick before their 3rd goal."
  7. looking forward to tonight's game.
  8. Well deserved win for the Germans, even thought they were lucky with that decision. They were so much better than england, apart from that 5 mad minutes, they played the kind of stuff that england can only dream of. I thought Ozil was just class. Muller has impressed me, too.
  9. I remember that! World Cup 94 got me into football.

    Lookalikes

thought it would be michael chopra, tbh.
  11. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php So you don't see the difference? If folk are gonna come on here and pretend to be Newcastle fans, they should bloody well embrace English football and the national team. Ireland have now to do with this forum or the team we're all here for. Haha, what a load of shit. As usual. I definitley want england to lose now....... just for ronaldo!
  12. A million times? I'd say it's pretty much the same thing, perhaps less crazy. After all, Kenny did actually win a few league titles and a couple of FA Cups. Still crazy, though. So what? To us KK was one of the most successful NUFC managers in recent time. It's irrelevant if that dosen't match to your standards. Eh? That's utterly beside the point and not at all what I was talking about. Bringing Kenny back would simply not be "a million times more sentimental and crazier" than KK coming back to NUFC. I was on about your comment about it being "less crazy". Don't see the difference, personally. Both of them were yeasterday's men.
  13. You could see Stuart Pearce was intimidated by him when they held their first meeting together at the time of capello's appointment.

  15. Maybe someone should have reminded him that at least he's lifted the World Cup.
  16. Andy Townsend wearing Matt Smith's trousers!
  17. The goal was onside, imo, too.
  18. I bet that wanker wouldn't be saying those if it someone like Terry, Ferdinand, etc. Talking about wankers....... the new everton goalkeeper is crap, too.
  19. Ashley is pretty much still sticking to his transfer policy that got us relegated. Well... look on the bright side, when we get relegated next may, he won't be alive for much longer.
  20. was really fed-up of Mark Lawrenson's unwitty and meaningless one liners during the England game today.
  21. Age, injury problems and a winger is not a priority. no match winners in our side. Enough said. Petrov can't win matches if he is injured for half the season. Also, if we are working on a limited budget with a wage cap we shouldn't be signing players for positions we already have filled. We have several players who can play on the wings and the priority has to be a striker, central midfielder and defensive cover. Furthermore, he is 31 and will have been given at least a two-year, if not three-year, contract at Bolton. Is he really going to be a match winner at the age of 33 in two years time? let's hope we're in the PL in 2 years time first!
