    Today's other games

The mackem result is much more important to us than Reading's, because I think Reading will pull themselves clear anyway now. Proof if ever it were needed of the massive boost that one win can give. Still think Liverpool will probably do them.
  2. Quit stealing my Ghostbusters 2 analogies.
  3. That's the civilised way to get discontent across. God bless those scousers. Kings among men. I see, so up in your part of the world someone hoping for something nasty to happen to another person is a death threat? Allardyce must be bricking it everytime he goes near the N/E. Oh sorry, sorry, the actual threats you just send in the post, is that right: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/3527835.stm ? Sorry, here's me slurring Liverpool fans when all the poor dears were doing was daubing graffiti and hoping a man who'd won them lots of trophies would die of AIDS. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ indeed if you think that high profile people don't get death threats now and again. Why have you modified your original words stating that the training ground was daubed with death threats? I apologise, I was obviously wrong. To show how sorry I am for slurring the good vandals of Liverpool, I'm going to have a minutes silence. Justice for the graffiti daubers!

  6. It's true, we are shit fans. How dare we express our discontent at the match? We'd be much better off painting death threats to the manager on the wall of our training ground.
  7. That's what I'd pick. I don't think Emre's fit though, so it would be either Barton or Faye for Emre, with Taylor coming into central defence if it were the latter.

    Alan Smith

There's a savage irony in the fact we've been waiting for Owen to be fit for the best part of three years and now that he is, that might actually be a major factor in taking us down.

    Embarrassing

Not stopped me making the journey up to Newcastle this year on numeruous occasions and attending several away games as well. Despite me not owning a car may I add. The thing that pisses me off is this is a game that could decide our fate in this league and people can't be bothered to go the extra mile. I know I will definetly up for the Fulham, Reading and Sunderland (If I can get tickets) games just because there such huge games. Are you taking two days off to go to those games like? Think a lot of people are missing the piont. If you have family or work comitments fair enuogh but there is no chance there would sale on the door if we were top of the league. It's more of a call to the fair weather supporters who can make it to get there arses down. Surely a club with the fanbase the size of ours can manage 2,800 from wherever. So remind me why you weren't at Liverpool or at home to Blackburn again? Liverpool, I had coursework deadlines for the Monday. Blackburn, I didnt have enough money for the train fare up.

Can I get this straight: stozo who lives in the Midlands and wasn't at the Liverpool or Blackburn games (and the rest) is calling those of us who live in the North East "embarrassing" and "disgraceful" because we're not going to Birmingham on a Monday night? Is that what is genuinely happening here? You're right, stozo, it is embarrassing. You're going, I'm not. Well done. I hereby revoke my soopafan membership card.
  13. Jermaine Pennant's fee was £6.7m rising to £8m with add-ons. So he might count.
  14. I was going to say Curtis Davies but I don't think Villa have actually paid any money for him yet.

    Has Viduka

Yep. Won't happen unfortunately. Birmingham will be shit scared of both of them, no-one's ever worried about Alan Smith and Maik Taylor should take his hat along so he can throw it on Owen's shots.
  16. Singing songs in the torrential rain outside the Nou Camp. Laurent Robert vs Spurs. Robert Lee at Wembley. Bellamy converting the rebound. Emre's perfect free kick. 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Fulham.
  17. Agree with this. With Milner out injured for the coming weeks I think giving Damien Duff a run in the team playing off of the right could be a positive change for the team he is far more likely to penetrate the space in behind then Milner or Geremi he can attack on the outside or the inside which gives us a different sort of threat, this also opens up N'Zogbia to be given a uninterrupted run in his best position Left-Wing which will be important if we are to see any sort of return to his form. Right, I'm off to bed. G'night everybody.
  18. That's how I'd actually describe the stupid comments on here in regards to KK walking. coach, give me an example of when KK dug it out as a manager, he's left everytime it's been difficult or there's been an out cliches only become cliches when they're true No, you give me an example of when he's walked out on a club at the first sign of bother. He was here 5 years and at Man City a few years too. Oh and myths doesn't make truths. KK a quitter? He wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes here when he first took over back in the 90s. Just as well he wasn't a quitter though eh... see my comments about leaving us first time on the other thread, fulham was a lower order, he was preposterously out depth with england and with man city he might as well have not existed enough? Fucking clueless.

When's the next ITV news on? I want to know when I'm allowed to stop tugging myself off over Juande Ramos.

    Today's other games

Gomez got a hand to O'Hara's and Bent's but couldn't keep them out because of the pace. Berbatov and Huddlestone's were too well placed. Problem with sweet little JJ's is that if the keeper goes the right way, it's saved. It's a 50-50 toss up. Looks decent if it goes in but too easy saveable. Moral of the story: fuck off Jenas.

The C5 commentator just nicked the post I was in the middle of making. God forbid the Spurs fans could make a fucking noise away in such a big game.

Wigan and Bolton will have a hard job to both lose. Here's hoping for a Wigan win.
