The problem here was the timing of SA sacking, which wasn't really needed until the summer, but lets forget all that.. Wasn't it? You reckon Allardyce would have done better than KK has with these players?
-
I see where you're coming from but I always think he is capable of pulling something out of the bag, despite his recent performances. was* The Owen people think of and the Owen we have are diffrent players. Play Martins and Carrol up front ffs! I'd play Shola me like. Mind, that's the crocked Shola, the fully fit Shola is worse by all accounts.

I can't understand why you would. Betting on something you really don't want to happen is bizarre imo, surely you won't get any comfort at all from the £25 or so you'd profit from it going ahead. I put £35 on Boro to win the UEFA Cup just so they wouldn't. I have total confidence in my bad luck. Already got £15 on us to go down. If we get beat off Fulham, I'm going down the bank.
-
Bit different for those of us living in the local area. Our lives would be unbearable.
-
Barnsley deserve to win the competition tbh. We beat them though. Result.
-
They think it's all over. It is now! Wahey!
-
Rubbish. Are you living in a parallel universe? Their first team is getting beat off Barnsley? I'm talking about him dropping half that team for a cup final. Not to mention that we've played them at home at that stage of the season every time in the last 4 years and they're yet to beat us.
-
Why? Because we play Chelsea at home in May and we need every assistance we can get in beating them. That's without mentioning the unthinkable - Boro winning the FA Cup.

Roeder thought Duff was better than N'Zogbia when he clearly wasn't. N'Zogbia was absolutely shockingly bad for every minute that Roeder put him on the pitch. In the first game after being dropped for the Irish oxygen thief, he came on and ran 50 yards to set up the winner. How rubbish. Then he got dropped again. Dig up posts from a year ago. I don't recall that particular match but the general consensus was that Zog was shit. People liked Milner better FFS. And he was, because he was too busy throwing a hissy fit about not wanting to be here instead of playing. Kind of like what he's doing right now. You'd struggle to fit in more nonsense in a post.

Yeah. We know. Fuck off. Chelsea still being interested come May is also massive for us.
-
Well within his rights like. Appalling decision. Thick as fuck.

Barnsley lead Chelsea. Fucking fuck fuck.

Just put another fiver on us to go down.

Keegan hasn't even won a f****** game! How can you say we are playing better than we did under Allardyce? Are you mad!? In 7 league games, 4 of which we have been at home, we have conceded a total of 17 goals and scored only 3!!! We never had a spell like this under Allardyce. Wake up, Keegan is taking us down! We've played different teams. Is that a difficult concept?
-
Owen needs dropping. Just not good enough to contribute enough anymore and doesn't even take most of the chance he gets.
-
Barnsley just had two great chances to go ahead against Chelsea.
-
Had a poor game like nearly everyone else. Fail to see how that translates to an attitude problem though.

You're having a laugh surely? Alright, maybe not the last. But he certainly doesn't show any more quality or put in any more effort than the current bunch of tossers. Probably the most hit or miss player we've got. How many games he just simply not turned up? Definitely not what you want in a relegation battle. I'd say when we are having a massive problem scoring goals, I'd say he's exactly the type of player you want. He's only started 6 games, already got more assists than most of the rest of our team put together as well as a terrific goal against Everton (a game he won for us, make no doubt about it). He's a very long way from perfect but I'm astonished that anyone can say he doesn't offer any more quality than the rest of the midfield options. Hit and miss is better than just miss every week.
