Insulting someone who doesn't post on here, well so what? I insult players and managers too, should that not be allowed? Dolt is not much of an insult either tbh. I'd have thought you'd agree anyway, someone who thought Souness was a top boss is a dolt.

Is he now ? I thought that was you, with all the nodding dogs agreeing with you. Anyway, this thread is a request to post sensibly by HTT, and you as an administrator, ought to do what he asks....... You asked who Leazes was and I told you, what's the problem? Personal insult perhaps? Ever heard of leading by example? No, I didn't think so. Well, he doesn't post on here, so I'm not too bothered. But you've said he does, and then you've insulted him. I know you aren't too bothered about insulting people though. I've said he does? He says he doesn't, so what's the problem?

Glad we cleared that up.

Leazes is some dolt off Toontastic who said Souness was a top boss.

Exactly. Look at Vidic last season, he was woeful, but has now been arguably one of the best defenders in the premiership this season. Its extremely hard to judge how good or bad Gooch actually is when hes playing alongside the likes of Bramble etc I was going to mention Vidic actually, but I wasn't sure how badly he had actually started. I remember Evra starting very poorly though.

Glad you understand that the appointment of Souness was a mistake at last. Eh?
-
Couldn't believe it when he just gave the ball to Bent under minimal pressure. Bent should have buried it, sitter really. That moment was Bramble-esque, though I wouldn't write him off 100% just yet. Has to show a hell of a lot more to be kept on though.

Nah, I just don't like Everton and always like to see Arsenal do well.

If we were to finish 16th (we're 4 points above that right now) and Bolton and Spurs were to stay where they are atm, 5th and 6th respectively, we would drop to 7th best over the past 5 years.

Don't know how you'd know that seeing as we've never bothered with them roeder is a tactician

I'm not used to this feeling - I honestly couldn't give a toss.

Never expected anything else. Entire club is rotten from the top down.
-
why would you do that? Martins is fucking awful. Oklahoma City bombing statue tbh.
-
Southgate I presume? I thought that too. Must be.

No, but he was bloody brilliant at saving them. Saved in an FA Cup final and the only keeper to save from Le Tissier, probably what you're thinking of. Crossley has scored a goal though, a couple of months ago up from a corner.

Direct from a goal kick actually says wiki. Well remembered.

The Government forced the issue, yes, but the LARGER Clubs went for it ,without serious objection because they realised the potential of a 'captive audience' I'm talking of a terraced section or area. This wouldn't give an extra 30,000 bodies, but standing would be cheaper, surely. This could help the less financially able to go and if it was on a turnstile basis ,all the better. And ,yes, you would have to twist Freds' arm up his back. How? Well you could start with a petition and maybe non-attendance one matchday before the ticket renewals start arriving. It MIGHT make the Club think twice All I'm arguing for Vic is to make the playing field a bit more level for US, the supporters. You can't disapprove of that ,can you? I know it's like a mole trying to move a mountain ,but ,you have to start somewhere!! I totally reject the idea clubs went for seating. A season ticket is just as valid for terraces as seat And again, what can clubs do to get terraces back when they are ILLEGAL? If you think the clubs will ever listen to fans, go right ahead, I'll put my efforts into things I can change in my life Terraces are not illegal !!! The whole football league would have all seater stadia if that were true. You can't make something illegal for one small section of the whole of Britain. It is purely a recommendation from the Taylor Report http://www.footballnetwork.org/dev/communityfootball/violence_taylor_report.asp Which was taken at face value by the Government and the FA.It's only the top echelons of Football forced into providing all seating - clubs don't get promoted unless they comply but it is not ILLEGAL. You can't change anything in life if you don't even try.If everyone thought like that we'd all still live like serfs. If you don't want to play - no problem,it is much easier to sit on the side lines and critisize. If nothing changes YOU are right, but if things do change YOU will still get the benefits Great painless philosophy for life (I hope you realise how much time I spent looking these big words up) ok its not illegal but if you don't have all seater stadiums you are legally not allowed to admit spectators Only in the Premiership, though I'm aware you're discussing the implications for NUFC.

Glad that Pearce will be staying, then? No. Just happy we're not getting relegated anymore. Not sure there was really much danger of that, mate. 6 points clear with far better goal difference AND a game in hand. 6 points from 9 games is a hefty ask from the bottom three, never mind much more than that. Charlton were only 6 points behind us before today, our game in hand is Arsenal away, and we just haven't looked like scoring or getting anything, wheras they're full of goals from Ambrose and Bent. ALl it would take is for them to beat us when they come up here and they only need a win and a draw to overhaul us. But as it stands we've overtaken Sheffield United and Wigan, and got a bit of momentum and belief back...I'm very relieved. I couldn't see where we were going to get a point from but we've got lucky with playing Boro's before their monday replay and got a bit of break from a set-piece...suddenly we're safe. Jeez i'm fickle My mate reckons Citeh are the worst team he's seen at the Riverside this season, thought you were abysmal. Still says you deserved to beat them though. Wouldn't that mean that Boro were the worst team he's seen this season? Ye knaa worra mean man. He says if Southgate hadn't pissed about and played a severely understrength team, they'd have walloped you - and he thinks Boro are shite tbf.

Coincidence for Spurs to be playing Sevilla when their keeper scored in midweek, bit closer than Robinson was like! http://www.goalkeepersaredifferent.com/keeper/goalscoring.htm Pat Jennings did it, but I'm pretty sure his was out of his hands. For Robinson to score from a free kick is nothing short of astonishing, can't wait to see it.
