  1. There's so many decent commentators who do the last game on MOTD and that sort of thing, I just don't understand how Fletcher is the number one on BT and one of the main men on 5Live, I cannot abide him at all.
  2. Keep forgetting Man City aren't actually in the semi yet.
  3. God I really hope the winner of tomorrow's tie (which will be Bayern) goes onto win it. Three awful clubs.
  4. Lukaku to score the winner against Man United in the final please and I'll have a poster of Solksjaer's fucking face.
  5. The one time I need VAR to help me out it doesn't, not that the useless cunt deserved to get to take it again.
  6. That penalty was worth £180, never been so certain in my life that a kick would be missed.
  7. I fancy them too. 8/1 with BTTS.
  8. I haven't seen any angle that even hints at a hand.
  9. Can see why someone on here was saying VAR was amazing the other day.
  10. He only left Boro for about £5m last year.
  11. He's still Brighton's player anyway. Edit: no he's not, that was total bollocks, that transfer had passed me by.
  12. Can only blame the keeper so much, Brentford never looked like scoring all night.
  13. West Brom and Fulham coming up is dull as fuck.
  14. I really wouldn't bother, it's been absolutely shit.
  15. He'd been shite for Inter as well but since return from lockdown has been vastly improved. Tim Vickery had been saying he was due to fall off a cliff with the amount of football in his legs for a while before it actually happened.
  16. Can't be too long before the mackems' big derby is with Harrogate.
  17. Howe's unlucky in that he's English. If he were in Spain, Italy, Germany, there's absolutely no question he'd have been given a big job in those respective countries by now. Coaches have a very different succession structure outside the Premier League.
  18. Criticism of Howe really irks me like. Bournemouth have spent 10 seasons in their entire history above the 3rd tier of English football - seven of them under Howe. They are a League 1/League 2 club and always have been. He took over when they were bottom of the Football League on -17 points and took them to the Premier League. There's never been a job like that done in my lifetime, it is astonishing. Like, you might not want him in charge of Newcastle, or think he's good enough to take a bigger job, that's all fine, whatever. But to say some of the stuff I see written about him, that he's a bog average manager who's done an average job, just fuck off. This attitude that pervades English football that you're basically not worth your salary unless you can conquer the Premier League is awful.
