  1. VAR with yet another petty offside long before the goal in the Dortmund game. Marco Reus's shoelaces were apparently offside about fifteen seconds before they scored.
  2. Aye I've used that site for years.
  3. Well that's why there's a trial, to examine context, threat, all sorts of nuance, thankfully we don't convict on the basis of a sentence. Sexual assault is a very serious offence that can destroy lives if it's on one's record and it's right that there is a high bar that has to be reached to get a conviction.
  4. Folk just speculating about a case where a bloke was found not guilty where others seem to be speculating that the jury may have got it wrong. Admitted kissing her didn't he? So why go through an anonymous court case? Sell this fascinating story to the tabloids without it ("Gazza was drunk and kissed me on a train", Christ she'll be able to give up work ). I never stopped hearing about how the lass who accused Adam Johnson was after making her fortune, yet he was found guilty and I've not read her tale in The Sun, why is that? Could it be because there is rarely money to be made from accusing someone of a crime (in this country anyway) and it's a ludicrous myth that continues to persist? Most people who report crimes to the police do so because they feel they've been wronged and want the person to face justice... apart from when women accuse men of sexual assault of course. Then they're money grabbing slags. That last line is way out of order, can’t see anyone suggesting that. I don't know any other way to interpret the posts by BG and Scoot. I'm not suggesting the jury got it wrong, no reason to think they did at all tbh. That doesn't mean the complainant was lying though, just that what happened wasn't enough to constitute an assault.

  6. Sounds like it. Bitch. What a strange take considering Gazza admitted it and witnesses said it happened. It's strange of people to think that the woman seen an opportunity to make a few quid because of who he was and what happened? Ok. Make a few quid how?
  7. Found not guilty (of the sexual assault).
  8. Need Schar to get booked, double with Xhaka.
  9. Loads of luck tonight, Mitro FGS, Giroud when he came on and two other goals slips, £50 up. Internationals used to be where I lost all my money but it's completely flipped this season, only time I make any decent profit.
  10. I just had similar on my laptop bookmarks, thought the site was down but it was working on my phone. Make sure the path is newcastle-online.org/forum and not /nufcforum, think there must have been a change when HUGZ did whatever he did with the server.
  11. Hear Glenn's already snapped up his Southend season ticket.
  12. Had a very pleasing 11/1 slip: Austria 2 Croatia 2 Russia 2 Poland 2 Slovakia/Wales BTTS 2 in North Macedonia
  13. Eto'o Cech Schmeichel Mascherano
  14. It is. This is just categorically untrue.
  15. Rangers is their name though isn't it? No Glasgow involved.
  16. I totally disagree with your first point, just because there has been "contact" does not make the dive any less blatant (if anything it's moreso, because it's much more cynical). If they can't see that he has felt a touch on his ankle in a standing position and thrown himself to the ground then the system is utterly pointless. It should go without saying that a foot making contact with another foot when both people are both almost standing still is not enough to make someone fall over in agony. If you don't believe me, try it with your friends and family. "Contact" has become the most pernicious word in the sport. An excuse for blatant cheating and an Emperor's Clothes type refusal to acknowledge that touching another human adult does not usually make them fall to the ground.
  17. Just catching up on MOTD, I just really don't understand why the VAR is even here if it's not overturning the Mane penalty. It's as blatant a dive as you'll see all season.
  18. Aye it's grim like, I'm a couple of years down the road ahead of you.
