  1. Aye Stuani was great last season and has carried it in to this season Keep your eye out for Kamano of Bordeaux, on fire at the minute, not now I've posted this like.
  2. I was fucking fuming. I don't like offside being implemented that fiercely, said that before. Modric's body was level but a stray ankle sees him be offside. Benefit of the doubt to the attacker imo, especially when I've got money on it.
  3. This is why I think Rafa should go sooner rather than later. Get to the start of the January window, get screwed over by fat mike again and just quit then watch (hopefully) all hell break loose. Just think the effect of Rafa leaving would have less of an effect (direct or indirect) on fcb if it happened in the summer. If you mean grumbling on Twitter before giving him money to fill the stadium for the next game to shout at him then you're right, all hell will break loose.
  4. I asked this question two years ago and the majority (including yourself) said they'd rather Ashley stayed as long as Rafa did. God knows how they thought the last two years would go, other than exactly how they have. Everyone loves a 'told you so'. I can't remember that TBH, but I guess it's because I thought since he had employed Rafa he'd give him a small amount of the money he needed to do the job. And obviously excited by our new world class manager. Sorry, you were right. I don't think it's much of a badge of honour to say I was right about Mike Ashley in 2016. Just found it utterly bewildering that some people seemed to think Benitez would prompt Mike Ashley to have a personality change and start being anything other than a complete arsehole.

  6. I'd be more than happy for refs to start dishing out red cards for this sort of shit.
  7. I just need the hopeless pricks to score.
  8. Needed Defrel myself for £52, double with Piatek. Had Piatek with Insigne too which came in.
  9. I'm absolutely seething with myself. Been doing card combinations for a while now on the TV games, texted my mate last night saying "one of these days I'm going to make an absolute fortune on a game with loads of cards" - tonight was the night and I decided that two good footballing teams wouldn't see many cards at Anfield, so I'll go for a Scottish slogfest at St Johnstone. 1 in Scotland, 8 at Anfield, including all of the most likely candidates. Absolute cretin.
  10. Surprised Pavard didn't get in at RB.
  11. Bale and Ronaldo both were. https://www.fifa.com/the-best-fifa-football-awards/puskas-award/
  12. As if Mo Salah's won the FIFA goal of the year for his goal against Everton, better than Bale's apparently. As soon as 5Live said it had been a public vote, I knew they would read out a Liverpool winner. That club is so odd, they've got more online bots then the fucking Russians.

Worth bothering with? It's alright, nothing ground breaking. 22:15

This extract is discussed in this week's Times podcast if anyone's arsed.

I'm at a complete loss to fathom how the Gonzalez deal wasn't breaking any rules. It was done as a way to get a particular agent a quarter of a million euros from Valencia, and as far as the FA are concerned that's legal? The mind fucking boggles.
  16. Not for Kevo. I had Messi/Ronaldo/Thauvin for £55. Thauvin scored second.
  17. Thanks gdm. Decided to have a FGS double pop myself after seeing yours and had Lacazette/Kamano (Bordeaux) at 39/1. Also had a BTTS/win of Arsenal and Bordeaux so Everton did me for £50. They did me for a similar amount last week, must stop betting on them to score.
  18. I had Torreira and Digne, my tactic is to put about ten different combinations on though. Think I need Bellerin for 2 extra slips to come in.
  19. I had a Dobbie/Naismith FGS double at 35/1, Dobbie did the business after 4 minutes and Naismith missed a fucking penalty in a goalless draw. On the plus side, had a BTTS/win treble of Sunderland, Portsmouth and Peterborough which I cashed out for £80 in the very brief period late on between Portsmouth taking the lead and conceding a quick equaliser.
  20. On the plus side Mike Ashley had a boring Saturday afternoon. I take my NUFC pleasures where I can get them.
  21. People were writing him off at 21-22. Even though he was erratic and missed chances there was clearly something in there. You can pay £50-60m on a striker and not guarantee a 20 goal a season return yet we look like we’ve let someone go who if not already there now, probably will be in a few years time for half of that. I love Rafa but I think considering he knows what he’s working under, not to be able to fit Mitrovic in to what’s a pretty pathetic frontline was a big error on his part.
