Rodri made over 200 passes tonight, that's got to be a record of some sort.

My brain couldn't handle the 5 minutes where they were both going out, I felt like knocking on next door just to say "have you seen what the fuck's going on?!"

This is why people who say that Southgate pissing the group without the players breaking sweat is easy and nothing to give him credit for look a bit silly and disingenuous.

The thing that confuses me is that all the betting companies have it down to a matter of seconds.

Every streaming service is like that, including Amazon Prime and Now TV.

Rest of the squad kept wanting to watch football and he's had enough of it.

Fuck me, Denmark are utter turd.

7 touches, 4 passes (total, including accurate and inaccurate), lost possession 5 times.

This thread makes for glorious reading if you start from kick off in a game that England dominated from start to finish. What a load of fannies. Bloody Southgate!

It was the only group where all 4 teams are in the FIFA top 20.

On a similar note, probably in this thread already, "X misplaces the pass, wow he is human!" or "Don't say that very often!" Well not since the last game you commentated on anyway, because that particular player, as they all do, will misplace at least one pass in most games and you always say the same bloody thing.

Me, any other time: expanding the World Cup to 48 teams is absolutely ridiculous. More shite teams, more dull games, just to make a few more quid. Me today: is there still time for them to expand THIS World Cup? This empty 10am slot is unpalatable.

If you open the tweet up, there's actually two identical goals.

England always struggle against any team that can keep the ball, Spain would be a nightmare to face.

Seems mad that a) Minamino doesn't get a game and b) Kyogo from Celtic isn't even in the squad. EDIT: ah @ponsaelius has already said exactly this

With England, there's always some weird clamour for one particular player. Was Grealish last time, now Foden. I think Foden's a phenomenal player but there's a sense he's very wedded, understandably, to the Man City system. He has never done it for England and it's understandable Southgate went first to players who have. Would have been Maddison folk were moaning about last night if he'd been fit btw.

Rasmus Kristensen 11/2 up against Mbappe is very nice. Single and 33/1 double with Hernandez.

Sick to fuck of the erratic refereeing. Didn't cash out the vast majority of the payout on my 3 cards each at HT, I just needed one SA card at the break then he decides to leave them in the dressing room, despite several fouls to stop counters.

This is a really weird attitude to international tournaments that you can't expect other people to share. It's the ultimate prize in football, once every four years. Teams ain't going to toss off a chance of winning it in favour of being mighty entertaining and burning out in the groups.

Don't bother with international football at all would be my advice.

Wew, that was fucking garbage.
