Wullie, I am not going to argue that much, but I just want to point out, the only owner that can serve your expectation is an Abramovich. f***ing hell. Maybe we could have an owner that doesn't constantly lie and f***ing deliberately mislead the clubs supporters at any given opportunity. An owner that may see the potential in having a £35million figure to improve the squad and at least attempt to progress, the fact that you and so many others are content to sit back and accept the lies and f***ing outright bullshit is just depressing. What are you going to do about it? Put a gun to some billionaire arab's head and demand he buy out the club and spend £50m on the squad? What a bizarre stance for a football fan to take. What? Look at the reality? The reality is we're owned by a lying c*** with zero ambition other than for the club to simply exist. Pretty s*** reality to be honest. Sadly, nowadays, ambition means Abramovich style investing, rather than correctly investing a club's own money, Who's the Abramovich at Spurs? Good question. Are we based in London that able to charge extravagant ticket prices? Our stadium seats 16000 more people so it's swings and roundabouts. Spurs were playing catch up to us for ten years, how did that happen?

The club has already said it wants a top ten finish, i think everyone can agree, we'd all be happy with a top ten this year? If so, im not even sure what we are arguing about. Would you be saying the same if Tchoyi had headed his final chance over the bar? Very convenient result for the club that was.

  5. Indeed, a more sensible comparison would be with N'Zogbia.

He's right He's right that it is impossible to accrue 8 more points than we did last season? Don't fall for the f***ing propaganda man. Just checked, we've finished in the top ten twice in 9 years. Pardew says 'lets not think of Europe' and people say we are going backwards. People need to get real man. Its pretty obvious that a certain few are just looking to jump on him at every chance. Without even checking, I know your stats are a load of s***. And obviously we've not done it under Ashley because he has no interest in it. Using his years just proves my point. Twice in 8 years sorry. Proper Euro travellers us like. 2002 - 4th 2003 - 3rd 2004 - 5th 2006 - 7th A year later Ashley arrived.

We are going backwards if we are no longer aiming to play European football. For all Shepherd's faults, that was his minimum ambition for the club, even if he didn't always achieve it (he did more often then not). European football is now above our maximum ambition, out of our reach, a pipe dream. It's pathetic.
  10. Depressing how cynical some people are. Hardly cynicism to suggest Mike Ashley is not running the club in its best interests.

Tough shit, we've got the mackems second game up so get them gelled in or get to the Job Centre, you spiv cunt.
  12. Highlights make it look like Krul saved us from an absolute arse-kicking. Some dire defending from set pieces.
  13. We've had it before and the suggestion is as ridiculous as it was then. Sports Direct last month posted profits of £200m. Unless you think some of that is going to find its way into NUFC's transfer kitty (taking its time isn't it?) then the idea that the NUFC/Sports Direct money is all one big fund is absolutely laughable.

Be pretty stupid not to take into account Villa signing a top class striker for massive wedge in January, and us selling ours and making zero effort to replace him.
  15. Green ffs. Fat Sam and his Fat Head must hate Kenny Miller.
  16. Parker's a better Premier League player than he will be a Championship one.
  17. That bloke who has the transfer screen behind him. Paper talk then. Panic over. No not paper talk, they have a transfer screen and have all the clubs and what transfers are going on.
  18. Currently talking. Aye, just seen Pardew on the touchline with Fat Sam.
  19. Terrifying how naive some people are.
  20. We should be worrying less about who players are better than and more about whether they are good enough to get us where we want to be, imo. I agree BUT, had we sold Routledge and not replaced him people would have cried about it, even though he would not really have kicked a first team football. No harm at all bringing this lad in to replace him. I am not over joyed by this signing at all but as long as he is not the only signing before the window is closed then no harm no foul.. I suspect he'll be dressed up as 'the striker'. Hoping, obviously, to be proved wrong.

  22. Think we'd be dead certs to go down if that were the case. We would like. There's simply not enough goals in the team at the moment. Ba, Shola, Best and Lovenkrands??? Howay man.
  23. Think we'd be dead certs to go down if that were the case.
  24. I think they'll care about paying Tiote's wages for 10 weeks while he sits with his feet up at home. Does he live in Ghana like? what difference does it make where he lives? He won't be playing football, that's the point. It makes a difference that thanks to the club's shambolic organisation, one of our key players is stuck in limbo, away from home as it happens, not at home. Bet he's over the moon at this. A real victory for club/player relations. When Chelsea come in for him, no doubt he'll think of this and be desperate to stay here.
