  1. I like how the media focus on Ashley's "lack of communication". I might have missed it because I don't focus on other clubs but when have Shinawatra, Lerner, Glazer, Abramovich, that bloke who owns West Ham, ever said anything?
  2. “Ambani means business and if Newcastle drag their heels he will be off to invest somewhere else and show Ashley just what he is missing out on.” What, and buy Leeds? A League One club who will cost him the equivalent of a bag of Wine Gums? Bet Ashley's gutted about missing out on that windfall.
  3. you're not allowed to say that. He's the knight in shining armour and no way will he bugger off with the money like the last lot, including all the increased sky money that hasn't been invested in transfers etc. He's even got the gall to wack the amount owed for the stadium expansion that he paid off, that we all thought was a Xmas present, onto the asking price. What asking price? Is this official, has it been in the classified ads in the Chronicle? What a clown you are, man. I'm a clown am I mackems.gif Believe whatever suits you Wullie lad, believe whatever suits you ........... You think Ashley will turn down an offer to get his money back and make a decent profit on what he's shelled out ? He's been setting up the club for a potential sale IMO. Get a life. Where have you seen the official asking price? Answer without referring to the "cockney-based media" you hate (even though you believe every letter they print). basically, I think you're one of the pointless people, so no, I can't be arsed. Didn't think so.

  6. Avoiding a twatting at there and the Emirates will do me, unfortunately. We absolutely must beat Bolton, not least because it's on my birthday.
  7. I thought that might be the case. The prat must just sit by the phone all day reading the rags and preparing his latest stupid comments. he doesn't, but I'm sure you'll keep saying he does anyway. What does he do then since you obviously know him?

  9. For me it would be madness to just abandon the formation that brought us such success last season - the only problem is that it depends very specifically on the strengths of our three strikers and if one of them is absent, it might fall apart.
  10. Gilmour seems to exist solely to provide stupid comments to the papers - that's if he even exists at all. Love to know who he is and what the "Newcastle United Independent Supporters’ Association" actually do. I suspect the answer is 'fuck all'.
  11. Careful, they've played two or three pre-season games. Let's not get carried away.
  12. Colocinni and Faye need to be first choice next season, no question.

    Alan Smith

Shola's a far better player and far better striker than Smith. Not even up for discussion iyam.
  14. One thing that never fails to amuse me about the papers is how they will all pretend they know all the intricate details of a story once another rag has printed it. If you knew so much, why didn't you put it in this morning's edition, you know-nothing, shit-stirring bunch of cunts?

    Alan Smith

He was moved into midfield even at Leeds because he couldn't cut it up front and Leeds signed forwards left, right and centre so they wouldn't have to play him there. Was always average at best other than an early purple patch and now average looks a million miles away.
  16. I reckon he sees the urgency more than anyone else at the club. If it means we're attempting to sign players of the quality of Coloccini then I'm prepared to wait. If there's at least two attacking players to come of that quality, I'll be pretty happy.
  17. You'd rather win than lose though. It's not even the results, we've not had a shot to speak of in three games (one against Doncaster). Owen and Viduka will get injuries and a striker is absolutely critical in the next 28 days.
  18. Hopefully no more than 3 or 4, but how many of this mob are going to be called into action over the course of a season, especially if we don't see Barton for months, who's been no great shakes himself in black and white anyway.
  19. I know they're pre-season friendlies but these last two and half games, dear me... Without at least a top class striker and a top class midfielder, it's going to be a long hard slog.
  20. That's twice the long ball has gone to the "striker", once it was Milner and then Geremi. Smith puts effort in? Don't make me laugh, I'd love to kick the half arsed cunt up the arse.
  21. This tour, nay this pre-season, seems to have been an absolute waste of time. Of the XI playing tonight, only two (possibly three, we've not really seen enough of Guthrie yet) of them should realistically be getting a game in the first choice team next season - and one of them's the goalkeeper.
