Based on all the Euro games with the exception of the semi-final and the fact that Keane disappeared in as many matches that he starred in. Keane is talented but if he starts armwaving in the first 10 minutes, the manager might as well substitute him there and then because he won't do anything of any note. The CL match against the Belgians was a good example of that. Only played in two didn't he? I think he'll probably do well but it's by no means certain. If he's going to play as a striker, his Zenit goal record's not up to much.

Beye was a real asset in supporting the attack and was a very good buy, but he could be vulnerable from the defensive point of view. I think Beye's an excellent defender but other than that I agree with you. Faye's rep seemed to plummet because of one rick against Birmingham.

Faye's dominance was made clearer than ever at West Ham. Ashton and Zamora absolutely bossed Taylor and Edgar. Saying "we're replacing him with Coloccini" is all well and good but we should be replacing our weaker players, not our best ones.

There are mistakes to do with updates - i.e. when a play has been sold we may not change the list for a while as the webmaster may be lazy - until recently you could still order Emre or Ramage (do you think anyone ever ordered a Ramage shirt?) but we knew they didn't play for us. I am sticking to my guns and saying I doubt the club has ever made a players name on a shirt available in that manner if we hadn't signed him.
