  1. All good buys IMO. They will only get stronger now. 1 horse race next season me thinks.
  2. This is - a total joke.
  3. Not sure why people are so hung about what he has or has not said. Does it really matter? Yes, we paid alot of money for him. BUT, he has been here two seasons and managed more games for England in that time than he has for us. I could not care if he stays or goes - not like we are getting value for money anyway. I can understand why he has not said anything - from the day he joined he has been close to the "exit door" according to the press. Its the press selling stories IMO. If there was a clause I am sure someone would take a punt at 9M, why not. However, they fact they have not would suggest the clause is not there and FS and the Club have simply priced him out of a move even if one has been made. If he is here next season and plays well - great. If not, frankly could not give a toss. This club is not about Owen anyway. I for one, will be more worried about the support the new manager in getting the right people in and making this place rock again.
  4. No point having another over paid person on the books, especially for 12 weeks - that would effectively mean starting again when he gets here and reverting back to the old system when he leaves. Not a good idea imo - even if we have millions to spunk away.
  5. Was not barking mate... Been head in sand lately. Thought I had missed something. That I did.
  6. Really? Link? Anyway, I think after he got ill and injured he has not really been the same for us. Granted, great first season but last season he was hardly ever captain material. If he wants out and has done for some time, its hardly suprised there was foook all team spirit last season. If thats the case, let him go. Would not be at all fussed tbh. EDIT - think I missed your point completely.!!
  7. Did the post count thang not stop ages ago? (test) Good move
  8. Rather have shola tbh. Cost nothing. Despite a 75yr olds hip, he could be ok. Also, not a bad 4th option IMO. SA will not want players like him tbh - do not think we will see trophy signings - either proven players that do not get injured, young players with good potential or unheard of plays that will be cheap but can do a job. He certianly wont look at crock players however good - despite his excellent records of keeping injuries to 1/5 of ours last season.
  9. The spite! Why not, they way Moanenio keeps banging on... perhaps a stray dog will run on the pitch "where's ya puppy gan"
  10. Manu for me - not because I like them, just think for football reasons alone, they have played far better football this season than Chelsea. I would like to see Chelsea take a hammering tbh. Hate the foooookers. But, from an enthertainment point of view - like too see Chelsea take the lead and for United to win on two very dubious decisions.. Should be at Wembley next Monday for the CC playoff final. Can't wait to see what Wembley is like now....
  11. Is it me or does he look foooookin happy to be here, says alot to me. Class comments. He has a point. We ALL need to be patient though, there is some obvious problems that need sorting out and that won't happen over night. We need to go with it and respect his decisions. Heres to a buf season and total support from everyone. The Souness and Roeder era need to be forgotten and quickly.
  12. Might just have to watch the barca game now..
  13. My name is Dan, I was born with the surname. Its true like.. A couple of inches to some people is lucky, not unlucky...........
  14. seems you have a problem with alcohol.
  15. I did nto see that bit
  16. Id say hitting inside of the post is quite unlucky especially after how he took the ball to get himself through Opinions are great arn't they,.
  17. Least funny character ever. Even Jimmy Krankie pissed all over him/her/it. Not literally, mind. That'd be wrong, Jimmy Krankie is a schoolboy. (spat wine on laptop) Pride of Liverpool mind.... in there's not mine
  18. "how unlucky can you get" - quoting sky. Nothing unlucky about missing an open goal.
  19. Imagine how the bin dippers feel... Cillaar and Lilee - both savage.
  20. Trade your tractor in.
  21. fook it he's a brummie.. says it all - ya mean south east?
  22. I don't know. It was the most southern sounding thing i could think of on the hop, that ugly fat bint The Badger on telly was putting me off. Watford is a good few hours north of me! well sorta north west anyway! Buy a fookin car man.. Is you from the Europe?
  23. Just out of interest - where do you think the watford gap is?
