Went to North Shields v bishop Auckland. A good game, but it felt very much men against boys. Shields had a wee lad playing 10 that would have been lucky if he was 16 - other young lads too, BA won 2-0.

Eddie said 'he wasn't sure about Gordon' when asked. A 'problem with the knee' apparently. Got to hope it's just a wee knock, but knowing our luck - Gordon's season will be done.

The season is in danger of fizzling out and whilst I'm no bedwetter, I can see them looking to replace Eddie in the summer, if it does. Sure we've had bad luck with injuries and cup draws, but something doesn't seem right tonight. For the defence to go from water-tight last season, to looking so porous this season - it's not good enough.
