Souness was a bad appointment in retrospect. He undid all of Sir Bobby's good work, as had Dalglish with Keegan's. I don't buy the curse thing anymore, otherwise we wouldn't have won the League Cup, last year. That pish has been banished.

Part of me thought that Souness would sort out the 'Young guns' as they called themselves - Dyer, Bellamy, Jenas, Ameobi and Bramble - but after a good start, it quickly turned to shite.

I think he will be peddled off to Saudi in the summer - at a big loss.
