  1. Karen Carney? Seems to be popping up loads on 5Live. I'm no hate of women (far from it), but by christ, her insights are awful.
  2. Still find it staggering how their takeover was simply waved straight through. I mean we all know the reasons why but come on. Corruption. Burnley could end up going the way of Bolton, if they aren't careful.
  3. Absolutely, this article particularly the part in relation to Dave Howe tells you all you need to know about who is running the show. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/09/sports/soccer/premier-league-ceo.html It's only going to get worse as well, Whitley. A European super league is now inevitable.
  4. Burnley aren't a threat to the 'Big 6'. A well resourced NUFC very much is.

    Joelinton

Pingel was still better than Rob McDonald! Used to love Roeder's 'Di Stefano shuffle'.
  6. Keeps Brighton in the clarts, with us.
  7. Justin Barnes - but Ashley will be overseeing everything. Make no mistake.
  8. He will continue to blame the players for some time, yet. He will only call out Bruce when either we are down, or he's been sacked.
  9. 10 for me now, whilst Bruce remains in charge. We are in freefall.
  10. Yup- can someone give a run down on what Jenas said and what JH said to put him in his place?
  11. Still playing the Covid and injuries excuses.......
  12. Bruce going nowhere yet, unfortunately. First half has bought him more time.
  13. Not the beasting I thought it would be, but still disappointing that we were again so passive in the 2nd half. There's been enough for Bruce to be 'encouraged', whilst he's PFM mates in the media still support him.
  14. Comfortable 3-0 win for Man United and another 'moral victory' for Steve Bruce.
  15. Ashley will panic if we go down - there will be a fire sale, with the likes of Almiron, Wilson and ASM being peddled. Still no guarantee that supporters will be allowed back in come August, so a massive drop in revenue then (lets face it though, how many will want to go back to watch the shitefest continue?) We will have made a loss for the season that it taking place now - like most other clubs. If the bank start getting itchy feet over the overdraft, things might get worse..... Ashley can only load so much debt onto the club itself.
