Justin Barnes - but Ashley will be overseeing everything. Make no mistake.

He will continue to blame the players for some time, yet. He will only call out Bruce when either we are down, or he's been sacked. -
10 for me now, whilst Bruce remains in charge. We are in freefall.

Yup- can someone give a run down on what Jenas said and what JH said to put him in his place? -
Still playing the Covid and injuries excuses.......

Bruce going nowhere yet, unfortunately. First half has bought him more time.

Not the beasting I thought it would be, but still disappointing that we were again so passive in the 2nd half. There's been enough for Bruce to be 'encouraged', whilst he's PFM mates in the media still support him. -

Comfortable 3-0 win for Man United and another 'moral victory' for Steve Bruce. -
Ashley will panic if we go down - there will be a fire sale, with the likes of Almiron, Wilson and ASM being peddled. Still no guarantee that supporters will be allowed back in come August, so a massive drop in revenue then (lets face it though, how many will want to go back to watch the shitefest continue?) We will have made a loss for the season that it taking place now - like most other clubs. If the bank start getting itchy feet over the overdraft, things might get worse..... Ashley can only load so much debt onto the club itself.

Wasn’t a pen for me, but good win for Everton, am sure some red scousers will now turn on klopp and want him gone,
-
Aye - cracking finish

Scoreboard for me that day and I fully agree with those sentiments ? Andy Hunt did ok for us, in what was a poor side. I also remember the likes of Tommy Gaynor, Andy Walker ahd Dave Mitchell coming in on loan prior to KK landing. Was there celebrations in the gallowgate after that game or people staying behind because it was the last day or something because have this vague memory of being dragged out at the Leazes End of the East Stand and something going on in the Gallowgate or at least people weren't leaving. Was their a lap of appreciation that day ? Can’t remember as left at full time for the supporters bus.

None at all, as they both settled on straightaway and were class. Venison was actually capped by England, when Venables was in charge.
-
Beresford came in, Barry Venison. Sheedy came in at the same time as killer and Darren McDonough (who!) Rob Lee, Scott Sellars, Cole and Mark Robinson came later.

I disagree - Ashley might have to sell if we do go down. It would be loathed to chuck another £30-40million of his own cash in to keep the club going, in this current climate. No TV money - NUFC becomes a drain on his resources.

Because he’s Ashley’s man, and sky have been well in with the owner for the last decade. It stinks.
