Newcastle United 1 - 2 Tottenham Hotspur - 10/08/18 - post-match from p. 17

I thought we did OK and deserved a point, but it wasn't to be. Some of the passing in midfield was sloppy at times - Yedlin had a mare at fullback. That said, Kenedy looked our best outlet, Ritchie did well. Bemused like anyone else as to why he was subbed off, because Attsu was toilet. On that showing, I think we'll be OK this season. -
Here's my video - apologies for it being sideways on. From my lofty position - I reckon there were a thousand there, easily. Well dome to all involved. Great effort. https://www.facebook.com/Cambois.Lad/videos/10156372219037040/

Shameless statement from NUFC. I can't see Rafa and Jamal agreeing to have done that. -

I guess that's where the TV cash has gone then! -
If Rafa keeps us up, Ashley will see it as his gamble paying off. It's then going to be up to us supporters, as to what happens next.
-
If that's true- shitey behaviour all around.

I wager there will be a cosy pre-match chat between Ashley and 'Craigy', on Saturday. All scripted by Keith Bishop, with the aim of laying the blame for this window at Rafa's door. -
Can you imagine Rafa agreeing to such terms when he signed his 3 year deal? I can't. He's been fucked over.
-
"Rafa can have every penny the club generates" x 2. Rafa surely has enough evidence for a constructive dismissal case, should he walk!
-
Just been offered the chance to go to the game, so we'll be at the protest.
-
Don't buy into the hype on SSN, fellas. Switch it off. They (and Ashley) love having us dangling on the end of a string on deadline day. Fuck all will happen as usual.
-
.com will mention protests, if people ask them. Could argue as well that Niall and Biffa have served their time when it comes to getting personally involved with stuff and they may now feel it's up to others to lead (IMO) Some of us older users (myself included) will remember the days of 'Sack the Board' during the late 80's/early 90's. I was involved in a sit down protest or two back then. Other users such as Merlin were actually involved with The Magpie Group and Sir John Hall back then, trying to hoover up shares for the eventual takeover.

Only just caught up. Quality reading this morning. -
I took my nephew to his first ever game last night - Blyth v Bradford PA. He thoroughly enjoyed it, even though Spartans lost 2-1. Just over 660 there.

The latter is clearly another lie. Remember the 'death threats to his family' story from some years ago? Someone contacted Northumbria Police and they had no idea of what Ashley was on about. -

It's working and he;s clearly rattled. Onwards! -

I'd argue that he's more of a sociopath, IMO. -
Cheers, Warren

BT or SKY for the charity shield, fellas?
-
Problem is, the person delivering the message is saying we’re not trying. Which we all know is true. They have no excuse this time. The gullible will still believe it, because they've been conditioned to.
-
No more new players will come in - then it will be the usual 'we tried' line, before KO v Spurs.
-
Worrying. The end of Rafa at NUFC is nigh, fellas. He's gotta be close to jacking in.
