  1. Rashford sent off - 'headbutting' Bardsley.
  2. Thought the presenter and JJ were spot on. The latter has now gone up in my estimation again, after the 'goldfish bowl' comments that he made some years ago. As for Ferdinand - he's taking the Ashley coin and has now been made a complete mug of. Richard Dunne just doesn't care about being involved in that discussion. Must say, fair play to If Rafa Goes for doing the digging. The truth will always out, in the end.
  3. Took my daughter and nephew to Blyth v Altrincham, yesterday. Spartans won 2-1 and whilst being fortunate, they've been due some luck in recent weeks. Just shy of 700 at Croft Park.
  4. Not the pasting that many of us feared. Today we were disciplined at the back - ball retention could have been better, but we were still in the game until the end. We've played of 3 the top 6 in the first 4 games, and each one has been close. That goal difference could again become vital at the end of the season. No shame today.
  5. Yup - Keith Bishop's paw marks all over this one. It's pathetic.
  6. I can't see Ashley sacking Rafa - because it would mean paying him out. And he also will want to humiliate him further. That's already beginning to happen, because sections of the media are attacking Benitez, as our some of our own fans. Guess who wins again?
  7. This knives are out for Rafa among a section of the fanbase and media. This isn't going to end well. Ashley has fucked over the manager big time.
  8. Do you give any thought to him hoping that Ashley might sell, that's why he's staying in the hope we are sold. That's not going to happen man, I genuinely believe the club isn't for sale because if it genuinely was someone would have took it. Its all Ashleys games saying its for sale to give us idiots hope
  9. Hallelujah at last then we might finally get some zombies waking up against Ashley! This all needs tearing down, hit rock bottom and get Ashley out then we can start again. Sooner that all happens the better. Anything else and we just carry on like this for 10 years Championship with a new decent owner or pl with Ashley? It might take a mackem-style plunge into League One to rid ourselves of Ashley. If it starts costing him big money, after he's asset stripped everything else, he will look to get rid. Annoyingly, we are going to have to wait another 8 months to see where last year's TV cash has disappeared to. You can bet there will be some more creative accounting going on!
  10. Clip of Howey, tonight; http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/newcastle-united/11485293/rafa-working-with-hands-tied
  11. For those that want Rafa out - just wait when he does leave, because the club will implode and it will be even worse than 2009. He's the only thing that's been holding it together for the last 2 years. He's great coach, and whilst he's not perfect (who is), he's not a fucking miracle worker either. Ashley has hollowed the club out and there's close to being fuck all left. Perhaps that's what is needed ultimately to get a change of ownership?
  12. Rafa told 5Live that we were the better side. :: Protecting the players again, from another rotten performance. We are going to be waiting a while for the first win of the season.
  13. We all know the club is rotten to the core - Rafa can only do so much. Out of the League Cup and more supporters turning on the manager. Guess who wins again? Yup - Mike Ashley. The bloke will be loving it tonight - proper pissing himself. Players just weren't interested at all, bar Sterry and Longstaff.
  14. Happy enough with the side - will be good to get a look at Longstaff, Muto, and Sterry. Off to the clerb with the old man, to watch.
  15. Whats the deal with Siado Berahinho? Scored his first goal tonight after nearly 3 years. Was such a promising player and is still only 25.
