  1. Some of you lads should try ringing in some time. There's nothing to it - seriously. Might be nervous the first couple of times, but as long as you articulate your points well and don't swear - they won't shut you down/cut you off.
  2. BG when it comes to total idiots and finding the good in them you excel at it. Albert wanted Steve Bruce therefore I see him as braindead personally. Well, it's his opinion. Think he's a bloke in his 70's, so I can see why he wants Bruce (him being a local)
  3. Hope I came over OK and got my points across well. Albert's actually from Bedlington (as am I) although I don't know the bloke. He's a regular and good caller though.
  4. Big Geordie, mate, I know you're always on there, do they know you by name now? Like ah, our friend _____ is back... etc? My cousin is Mathew Raisbeck, who works on the show and commentates on the Gateshead games and sometimes ours, when Lowes is off. I'm allowed to have my say - they don't shut me down. Ando recognizes my voice and who I am. How does he feel about Pardew? I was watching the Swansea v Newcastle game with Razor etc. and every time we misplaced a pass he'd say: "I bet that was Pardew's fault too. Get him out of there." I won't say what he says to me in private. He has to tow the BBC line as part of his job, but suffice to say he's a good lad and a proper black and white. As for Ando - I know he gets some stick sometimes and may well deserve it, but he was a hero of mine when I was a kid and having met him through the show - he's a very decent bloke. Got to remember that he can't be too critical of the regime otherwise they will take his press pass away. to be fair to Ando, i met him in Brugge and he was really nice and good craic, but they shouldn't be in these jobs in the first place, what's the point of asking for someones opinion on things and them not being able to say what they think, might as well live in china Because Ashley will take away the commentary rights from the BBC. I agree though, but Ando has a job to do. I'll hopefully get on tonight to put 'Andrew' right.

  7. will post here if and when they ring, so you's know. They might be stowed off again tonight - will just have to see.

  9. Nope - they just ring up when they've got a slot available.
  10. Call booked in for Total Sport - hopefully they will ring me back.
  11. If someone could provide a link at some point with regards to what Colin Murray has said, I'd be grateful.
  12. Worth bearing in mind that NCJ Media are back in favour with the club, and this may well just be another convenient lie.
  13. The Pardew apologists on Total Sport were enough for me, tonight. Am refusing to listen to Collymore as his modus operandi is to get folk to ring in. He's a cockwomble.
  14. Well done all involved. Next thing to do is move on to the owner - the momentum is there.
  15. If Rovingmag is right - all points towards Beardsley for me (at least in the short term) who is another company man. It also gives Ashley another get-out from spending any cash in January, as well as moving Sissoko on. He must have reached his peak value, according to Ashey's analysts. Gonna be a bumpy road to the end of the season. Ashley gambling on us having enough to stay up as things stand. If he doesn't have to spend, as well as flogging an important player - he'll do it.
  16. Howey mentioning a new owner coming in and destroying the club - ala Leeds and Pompey.
  17. Some reports saying Pardew is going be be getting £3million a year + bonuses at Palace.
  18. Too late to ring in, Neesy. It'll be stowed off. Will try tomorrow night.
  19. Could that go some way to explaining the week where we lost to Spurs and the mackems - that the players knew this was going down?
  20. Ben Arfa has burned his bridges with NUFC, regardless of who comes in.
  21. Pulis wouldn't come here. He left Palace due to interference from above - the tramp in the tracksuit won't stand for that from Ashley.
  22. Pulis won't come here. If he wouldn't take chariman interference at Palace, he wouldn't stand for it with Ashley. I'd hope whoever comes in, has some fresh ideas and actually tries to play reasonably entertaining, attacking football rather than sucking the life out of all of us.
  23. This will run in to tomorrow, lads at the very earliest. Can't see anything being announced tonight.
