Is it up to older fans to police the radgies though?It's all very well tutting and shaking your head when some knacker shouts racist abuse, but hows about reporting them to a steward or the police? People like that need to be exposed or shouted down. It seems that the more draconian measures that the club has employed, particularly with away game tickets hasn't worked, because these arseholes are still going to games.

Noticed on the True Faith group, on FB that there was some dickhead making racist comments, at Blackpool yesterday. I asked if the lad who heard it, had reported it - but he's not responded as yet. Are things getting worse though, particularly those who travel away from home? We had the bother at Darlington a couple of years back, the business at Wigan last season. Are things getting worse or is it being blown out of proportion? When I first started going to away games when I was 17 (1989) there was none of this business of acting like a prick - went to the match, had a good laugh/carry on and a sing, then got the Armstrong/Galley bus home. What is it with these little bastards that show no respect and sully the name of the club?

It's worrying and Caulkin reflects the mood of most of us again. I think there is gonna be some kind of coup at Newcastle - Kinnear wants Pardew's job, but he won't budge. Clearly wanting to bring in Harford was an attempt to get some muscle on his side, so thank christ it failed. That said, it's imperative that Newcastle get off to a good start - otherwise the heat will be turned up on Pardew.

Thought this worth sharing; 'according to Mark Douglas (The Journal) the vibes from the club are that they aren't even trying to make progress on any sort of transfers' If true, Kinner more bothered about making his own position safe and it would seem that all of our business, was done last January. Does seem to be (reading between the lines) that Cisse is seeking to engineer a move and as usual, the silence from Newcastle is deafening.

As I said elsewhere, this season is make or break for Vuckic. He needs a run of games and more importantly, to stay fit and around the first team squad. I hope he makes it, because he has talent. Just needs a turn of luck.

Pity he didn't fancy us enough in January. Would still take him though.
