Was thinking about the Ferugson parallel yesterday. Carroll has talent, but seems beset by bad luck. I think we'll see him back here at some point, but it'll be on a last year of his contract/free jpb. Is he as big a piss-head that seems to be being suggested?

The ever increasing memorial has been moved to under the Milburn Stand, to protect it from the weather. It's also at times such as this, that I feel the 'pull in the gut' to start going back to games.

Heading to St James Park very soon, with some flowers and a message. My little girl has also drawn a picture for John and Liam too - she's coming with me.

RIP to both lads. Didn't know either, but I imagine I will have been to away games when they were there too, so their loss is felt by all of us. Thoughts are with their families.
