  1. I hope so. Why get one when the owner is ripping the piss out of you?
  2. I stand corrected, Neesy. I've not been a s/t holder now for 7 years.
  3. Got to be years since s/t's last went on general sale, when we are a top division side? I hope thousands have jacked in.
  4. The bitterness of some in this thread. As bad as mackems, IMO.
  5. So cute! She's unreal  Turn on Korean TV and there's literally 20 birds like this on at any given time with slight variations on the amount of plastic surgery they've had. Is she a bit bozz-eyed or is it just me?
  6. The people at the top of the FA have a lot to answer for. For years it's been an old boys club. Look at Brooking for example. How he is still in a job I do not know. It's why Brian Clough never got the England job. They were too afraid of what he would do. Still very much an old boys network, almost as bad as FIFA. Corrupt to the end, all lining their own pockets.
  7. I'm too young to remember the 70's properly, but they exited 82 unbeaten and Marradonna cheated in 86. Never before has there been such a dearth of talent in England. The PL is out of control but the FA don't care because of the money it makes them, the clubs and the tv companies. That's all that matters to them now.
  8. The problem with the national team is the Premier League. The FA have created a monster that makes plenty money, but to the detriment of the national team and grassroots football. English football has been destroyed by its own greed and I for one am pissing myself laughing! This day was always going to come and will things get any better? Will they bollocks. National team will slide down the rankings as Scotland and Wales have done. Fuck the FA the sack of greedy cunts!
  9. Remember - the club will be employing people to go on line and peddle this bullshit. I wouldn't bite too much.
  10. I know Ray Hankin (Ex Burnley and Leeds striker from the 70's) through work. Newcastle wanted him as a kid, but he said they had a rep for not playing youngsters, so he signed for Burnley. Was sub for them, as a 17 year old when we played them in the 74 Cup Final. Fancy that, eh? Playing regular first division football at that age! He's a very decent man too.
  11. Man City at home? There's an easy three points to start off with! Pardew will have his excuses in early.
  12. I've heard mention of Burnley away, on FB. Only thing nailed on, is being away on Boxing Day.
  13. we all know how this is gonna end. Another one which Pardew will say 'they couldn't get over the line'.
  14. The lad needs a run of games, be it here or out on loan. To write him off at 22 is just feckin stupid. Peter Beardsley and Waddle would never have made it in that case!
  15. Another one bites the dust!
  16. Very soon - it'll be advertised as not coming to see Newcastle, but to see Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool, etc at St James Park. We will merely become an after-thought whist being turned over.
  17. We are overdue hosting a World Cup. Almost 50 years.
  18. I know it's not a nice thing to say, but it would be a lot easier for everyone if Blatter just popped his clogs, tomorrow. The man is a twunt = brought shame, greed and corruption to an organization who's roll should be to administrate - not make as much dodgy cash as possible,
  19. Nope. Just bought two strikers though, probably just not as good as they thought he was going to be.
  20. There will be better and more ambitious clubs in for him, if he is for sale. Are Dortmund in big money trouble?
  21. Brilliant from Holland tonight - an immense 2nd half performance. Most enjoyable WC game for some tournaments.
  22. The way we do 'business' is rotten and it's backfiring on us now - big time.
