Case of job done tonight - disappointed we couldn't get a goal, but a point away from home is better than nout. Really impressed with young Bigiramana, who worked hard and was very neat and tidy. Shola also put in a great shift - disappointments were Obertan (rubbish final ball as always) and Vuckic who just couldn't get into the game.

As good a player as he is, no one is bigger than the club. I can see him being moved on in January. We need everyone pulling in the same direction - not one or two acting like twats.

Yup - Brugge asking for trouble, IMO. Very surprised at the low allocation.

Agree on le Tissier - his bias against us is there for all to see. -

Whats this Obertan refusing to come on, fellas? He looked stripped at one point near the end?! -

Well, I called the changes at HT! Over the moon with the point, but a get our of jail free goal card used up tonight. Fellani was onside, and Annicibe's goal was over the line. But two superb strikes from Ba, Cabaye found his passing range and Anita and Jonas shut down Baines. Very much a point won, but by christ - fortunate! -

Poor performance - only bonus is that we are only 1-0 down. Badly missing Tiote in midfield and I'm not sure how that can be resolved for the 2nd half. Ba or Shola on and for us to go a bit more direct. I'd take off the ineffective Marveaux and possibly move Perch into midfield, with Anita going to DR. Pardew has a job on to stop us getting pummelled in the 2nd half. -
I believe it is true and yes, it's shocking.

Yup - the 'we should be grateful' line doesn't wash with me and he needs to pack it in. Most Mags aren't daft enough to believe it.

is it 11 or 13 games since they won?
-
Shame on them.

Blyth winning 3-1 at Matlock after being 1-0 down.

The fences came down straight after the Hillsborough disaster. Next home game for us after that was Luton and I still remember thinking how weird is was watching a match with no wire fence in the way.

Obviously given yesterday's revelations, the wheels of justice will begin to turn. Pity it's taken so long to happen.

The Liverpool fans were in the Leppings lane end the year before in the semi and it was fine. It wasn't I believe - there were similar problems, although not on the scale which happened in 89. The Police and FA didn't learn their lessons - showing sheer contempt to those they should have been protecting.

Aye. Some of the apologies they're getting are nowhere near as good when it's a completely different set of people saying sorry. The South Yorkshire Police one is almost pointless at this stage. Of course the reason why Maggie wanted to protect the South Yorks Police, they'd been her henchmen against the Miners 5 years before. Along with The Met - spot on. They were her own personal army.

Like Mackenzie - too little, too late from that gobshite of a rag.

Yup - I'm amazed that some are still doing their best to blame the Liverpool fans, even after today's events. If there are any black and whites trying to do this, then I am ashamed of their actions. I've got no great love for the scousers, but I witnessed on TV what happened that day and it's something that will live with me until the day I die. I have always supported the families' cause to find the truth - their resolve and determination has been amazing.

Another problem was at Rotherham or Watford (I think). You had to get into the away end down a back lane and we always took thousands to away games so the crush was terrible the closer you got to the turnstiles. Grimsby wasn't good either. Remember going down there in 92 (just after KK had took over) and about 7000 were there, packed into the tiny away end. Little kids that had travelled down on our bus had to be hauled to safety and sit with those in the seats. Madness.

Has that been verified? Christ almighty, if so. I hope today is a final nail in the coffin for the career of Kelvin Mackenzie. No-one should touch that cunt with a bargepole.
-
Apparently the senior policeman who was in charge on the day, died in 2006 so he is now beyond justice. I hope he is rotting somewhere hot though, as he feckin deserves to be.
-
Shame on South Yorkshire police for what they did (the huge cover up) and also The Sun newspaper - I bet they won't make a proper apology! For those senior police involved in this, if they are still alive - they should do serious jail time. Justice for the 96.
