I used to listen and contribute to The Legends, but then along came Total Sport and I shifted there. Whilst they weren't everyone's cup of tea, I think the end of their show is a sad day for NE football. Am sure they will be back in some kind of similar format in the future.

I think his game on the deck is OK to be honest and he would offer us a different option to that of what we have at the moment. There were times last season when we still went very direct and when he was he - we were hardly Wimbledon in terms of our approach play. Would still be a good deal for the club if we could get him back for £10-15million. Certainly makes a mug out of the red scousers.

very simple reason, without rangers for a minimum of 3 years would destroy the TV deal and cause a shit load of problems for the SPL clubs I'm not sure it would be as bad as some are making it out to be. Scottish football has a chance here to rid itself of corruption and a fresh start. Pity that all an sundry (those in power at the SFA and SPL) are as corrupt as the fuckers who destroyed Rangers in the first place.

Common sense from the SFL clubs, but the SFA and SPL seem to be doing everything in their power to get Rangers back in the top league, asap. Makes you wonder why such a fuss was not kicked up for the likes of Gretna? One rule for Rangers, and one for the rest. Corrupt and rotten to the very core.

Playing devil's advocate a bit here, but Beardsley never enjoyed the kind of wages that footballer's get in recent years. Am nearly sure John Anderson and Kenny Wharton did the same, when they had their testimonials and they were both great servants to NUFC as well (went to both of theirs)
