They want to come back into the SPL, obviously. In order to do that they need a majority (not sure exactly what it is) to vote them back in. It seems like they would get the required votes, although I don't think the rest of Scottish football fans are happy about that. Apparently there are plans to boycott games if they are allowed back in. I guess it will all boil down to money at end of the day and if the rest of the SPL clubs decide they would make more with Rangers being in the PL, then that's what will happen. When money is involved, morality goes out of the window. They should be busted down to Division 3 - simple as that.

If they are liquidated, what are the options for a new club - being admitted to the SPL, starting off in Division 3 or moving to England?

Not surprised UEFA have done this. They and FIFA have turned a blind eye to such a thing for too long. It's going to take a player or indeed a team walking off the pitch for them to face it and deal with it properly. They are are spineless as our own FA.

Clough was a one off and a helluva manager and yes, I rate him ahead of Alex Ferguson. His football teams played the game the right way and he wasn't afraid to call a spade a spade. How English football could do with the likes of him now,

We all knew someone would leave this summer - perhaps it will be Ba. Seems like we are pretty powerless to stop it if he does move - only hope that a good replacement has been lined up by Graham Carr and his team.
