Black Garter is full of criminal riff-raff and old blokes. Apparently if the police are after anyone, it's one of the first places they look!

Just been reading that - some are taking a good and proper *CHOMP*

I thought he was one of the better mackems for a bit of reasoned craic on here? Just as bad as the rest of those on RTG, it would seem.

As ever, it's a question of who wants it more on the day. I think they have something to prove from last year and we seem to lack belief at the moment, which is why I'm gonna go for a face-saving 1-1 so everyone will be reasonably happy. Can't see MoN not having them motivated for this.

Terrific! Can someone not post it on RTG?

That last story is true - I remember it being in the papers a few years ago.

Gone a bit too far that. Beyond 'banter' for me.

Wraith is a media-whore, but at least he has done something.

Got to be tactics from the manager then.

both also had forwards to play to and a midfield that got forward to give options also. Agreed. Cabaye certainly seemed to be sitting much deeper today - why is beyond me.

Robert was class in his day, but you can't compare him to Ben Arfa. Both two completely different types of player. I remember when we had Robert and Solano in tandem down either wing, we had two of the most potent wingers in Europe at that time (in terms of goals and assists)

Newcastle United 2 - 2 Wolves - 25/02/12 - post-match reaction from page 34

Probably because they were too busy watching the ball go over their heads. Most of the time our defenders are forced to hoof the ball because Tiote and Cabaye offers no option in the centre. Do you know how many times Cabaye did go back and help to pass the ball forwards? ONCE. Tiote is better, at least he did show up even if he failed to bring the ball forward. Cabaye is simply a no-show today. I have been his biggest fans but today it is f***ing ridiculous. for me manager should see this things and do something. if they dont do what you demand then drop them. because that movement creates place to pass and it also creates space to other players to get ball. He did. Guthrie was brought in to do that job. We did pass the ball much better since Guthrie's there. I ain't sure what's happening to Cabaye but his form since 2012 has been shocking. I think he`s tired. Tempo of the game is totally different what he has used to and when you play almost all games it takes you mentally as well Cabaye has had a 'rest' for three games before today. Tiredness doesn't wash with me. Poor performance today - I'd have started Ben Arfa in the place of Ryan Taylor. He former might lose the ball, but at least he tries to make things happen and would have had them on the back foot. Have said it before, but will say it again - I see worrying parallels between Pardew's treatment of Ben Arfa, and what he did with Tevez and Mascherano at West Ham. I'm not saying Ben Arfa is in Tevez's league, but Pardew seems unwilling to trust flair players. -
Any win will do - could do with an early goal though.

Quality. Nice to see he is learning!

This Whyte character sounds as dodgy as hell. Do they not have a 'Fit and Proper Person's' test in Scotland?

3-1 Napoli - massive rick by Luiz.

If the lights spelt out FTM in the sky you are probably right. Wireside got changed into a tracksuit in a phonebox when he saw it.

Fair play to the mackems today, outfought a very poor Arsenal side. How rotten was the pitch though? I've seen better on the field across the road from my house!
