Pardew so far off the metal there, it's untrue.
-
Wasn't a great deal wrong with the formation IMO. More so the lack of quality up front. Better strikers and that could work well. Well surely you pick your tactics for the players which you have available? 442 would have made much more sense.
-
Poor tactical choices in the last two games have cost us. Whilst he has done well overall, it would seem that Pardew does not learn from his mistakes. Hope to god we don't go with 4-2-3-1 v Blackburn, because it will end up in another inspid performance and defeat.

Well, that is very disappointing though perhaps inevitable. Yes we were in control and should have had a pen as well as being unlucky with another deflecttion, but we lacked urgency and to be honest I thought Pardew should have been braver and gone 442. That's twice poor tactical choices from him have cost us in the last two games. Ultimately. not good enough. I thought Ameobi put in a good shift, but criminally lacked support from those around him. -

Poor first half. We are set up not to lose a goal and hopefully catch them on the break, but the passing in the final third has been rubbish. Pardew needs to shift back to 442, instead of this 4-2-3-1 mullarky. -

Not surprised - hopefully Colo will be fit for Blackburn on Weds night. Lets hope the lads do what's asked of them today. -

I've ordered ESPN in for this game - £9 a month with having Sky Sports already. I'll probs cancel it at the end of the season. Got the father-in-law coming around to watch with me. -
Is racist abuse still an issue in North East football?

I'd guess that it's because it's a separate issue - no racism involved in what Balotelli did. -

Not connected to NE football, but apparently QPR were sent bullet through the post, addressed to Anton Ferdinand. Not good. -

Missing Colo is a worry and I concur with playing the strongest possible side. Perch at DC just doesn't inspire me with confidence. Once again, our defensive shortcomings are being well exposed. How long have we needed cover at centre-half now and it's just not happened? -
Hello Jose.

Good chance for him - wish him all the best.

Are you daft? Shea not going to withdraw money from this illegal account without wearing a disguise. :D

It is nice to see him squirm. There are parallel's here with what happened with George Graham, at Arsenal back in the mid 90's. However if found guilty, I bet Spurs won't sack him and he won't resign. Should put paid to him getting the England job and will the media also stop brown nosing him?
-
I'll have to book the night off work to watch the Arsenal game.
-
As much as I would like to see him do time, he'll get off with it and/or be dealt with leniently.
-
Might have seen the lad when we played Watford in the Championship, but I can't remember him standing out. A 700k bid suggests Ashley is playing hardball again.

Roeder was undone by injuries and a lack of financial backing from Shepherd. That said, it is questionable that he got a shot in the first place (I thought at the time he deserved a chance)

The Life and Times of 'Entertaining' Mario Balotelli

Just seen it elsewhere - deliberate stamp, IMO. -
Best of luck to him - hopefully he will get (and take his chance) in the football league. As said above, it's amazing like knackers such as Ranger stay at the club.
