  1. Tin-pot dictatorship alive and well at St James Park. Thing is with these regimes, is that they eventually topple and that's the hope that people have to hold on to at this time in being. Ashley only wants people who will lick his arse (as Sky did on Wednesday night) Any other questioning voices will be booted out. Stewards will now probably start ejecting fans who sing anti-Ashley songs at home games. It's the next step and somewhat inevitable.
  2. Richie Humprhies was tipped for the top by non other than Marco van Basten, when he started out with Sheffield Weds. Bit unfair on the lad to call him crap, as he became something of a latter-day legend for Hartlepool.

What's the craic for those of us who aren't on Twitter?
  5. The ground not making as much revenue at it could. I wonder why that is?

    Papiss Cissé

Can't hit a barn door at the moment and his confidence is totally on the floor. Perhaps he will be moved on, in January if not next summer. Someone will pay £5million for him. That said. the lad has been well and truely 'Pardewed' over the last 18 months.
  7. I pity you's who go to games week in, week out now because it must be liking getting your eyes poked with a sharp stick time and time again. In a way, it's like 08/09 again - the club is dying with this man in charge.,
  8. Was just gonna post something similar. He has a ready made excuse now for when the inevitable happens at the weekend. He's a fucking arsehole.
  9. Mission accomplished for Pardew tonight - exiting the League Cup.. A little bit of a battling performance that ultimately wasn't good enough and he also now has a ready made excuse when we lose to Chelsea on Saturday........ tiredness.
  10. Same here, it's not much but I feel a little better for it. I buy every now and then, and have made the effort today.
  11. Well, they failed to peddle Cabaye in the summer, so Krul is perhaps the next in line.
  12. Was just about to post that, Bimpy. It's a start indeed - the gloves are off.
  13. Said that a few months ago - the story about 'Rooney' earlier on this year, was testing the water.
  14. You never know, Neesy. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
  15. Oh aye, but Fulham had as much 'debt' as us, I'm sure and far less potential.
  16. There will be buyers out there, if he wants to sell. Remember, it's only a couple of months since Fulham (and all their debt) were bought.
  17. I've shared the pic on FB and urged my Mag supporting friends to do the same.
  18. The local rags will maintain their readership, if they start asking the right questions and also become a 'flag bearer' (as stated above) for the anti-Ashley campaign. They did it in 1988 and whilst it took a year or two and for the club to tumble out of the First Division - it worked. It can happen again, but the apathetic have to get off their arses and get involved.
  19. That letter from Wendy Taylor is remarkable and staggering. The over-reaction from the owner, has just chucked more fuel on the fire and the lads behind the anti-Ashley campaign must be over-the-moon that they have hurt 'him'. More marches, more protests and more support from the local media needed. Any Ashley apologists still on here?
  20. Nout on the front page of The Chron, that I have seen in FB.
