I'm as big a supporter as I have ever been. The fact that I don't get to as many games now has not altered that. I still follow the lads on TV, the net and on radio as well as the odd home game now and then, when cash allows.

Why introduce a membership scheme for that area of the ground at all, Roger?

The club missed out on a real trick by making L7 membership only. Could it be that it's because that was the part of the ground that was more vocal with the anti-Ashley protests last season, and so he wants to know who is where up there so if anyone steps outta line, they can be barred straightaway. One question - are folk still allowed to stand up there during games, of have the stewards got more handy this season?

As has been said, it's a sign of the times. Football match tickets are now way over-priced for the fare that is given in return. All clubs need to be looking at what they are doing to get bums back on seats (like getting realistic with player wages) or it'll just get worse. As a dad with a young 2 year old daughter, I have different priorities now and I refute being called a 'fashionable fan' like was suggested above. I'll manage the odd home game this season. Was gonna try and get tickets for the Sunderland game, but at £42 they can piss off. I'll watch on Sky instead - greedy bastards.

Nolan wasn't 'involved' at all today, bar taking the pen and missing that good chance at the end. Not good enough.

Yup - not good enough today and poor subs from Hughton. Ben Arfa should have been moved more central (where he can affect the play more) and Tiote should have stayed on. I know he scored, but Nolan's contribution today was minimal at best. We just got out-powered by Stoke in the end and it's disappointing. We need to develop some consistency and not be so predictable in our play.

Horrible decision by the ref for the penalty. Not getting the rub of the green from officials so far this season.

I have to get up at 6am. You can't live for work mate, go for it Stay up and feel like crap in the morning! I get up that early to take wor lass to work and then I look after the bairn for the day! I might head downstairs and see who's on first.

I'm debating whether to stay up for the goals, as I have to get up at 640am (I am Sky+ing it though) Bound to be Man United on first as I said earlier, anyway and then Liverpool losing to Northampton.

I'm burning it onto DVD right now. Will sit with a cuppa over next few days and enjoy it without losing more finger nails. Would love a copy, CG!
