  1. We are still very much in this. Need to get the ball wide a lot quicker - Jonas and Routledge are the key I reckon.
  2. Savage could be off? Takes out Routledge. Bet it'll be a yellow.
  3. Sounds like Derby have come out of the blocks very quickly. Have had a couple of chances already....
  4. Cardiff surely. Yup. Where did I get Palace from ?
  5. Radio Newcastle also reckon we are unchanged from the Palace game. Hughton going positive away from home (for once!) The right decision and I hope it comes off.
  6. First game was back in 81/82 I think - Shrewsbury rings a bell. My old man is a black and white, though he's always leant towards Arsenal as well for some obscure reason. Became properly hooked when Keegan signed as a player in summer 82, and have never looked back since - good times and bad.
  7. I remember him when he was boss of Northampton. We faced them in the FA Cup, during the late 80's.
  8. Ta for the link for the goals. Carroll's and Lovenkrands' 2nd goals were beauties.
  9. How many pens have West Brom had in their last few games?
  10. Christ - what a start. Taken 5 months for them to start tearing into teams.
  11. I think the opposite. I think all these players were are signing now are being signed now rather than later and in the summer we will sign no f***er. Might not be far off here. I wonder if these are being signed in the event of us not going up, and some (if not all) of the bigger earners being sold on in the summer?
  12. Not good but I can't blame Chorpa for reacting like that. We do have some real wankers amongst our ranks.
  13. Was just wondering after I read it being alluded that something happened to Chopra on Weds night. Can someone fill in the blanks please?
  14. Poor game and Hughton got what he came for, with his negative tactics - though Leicester were worth their point. Hughton shows fear in his team selections when we go away from home- two players in the middle of the park who do the same job (Smith and Nolan) - no flair and pace and loads of long ball. If he had been braver after they went down to 10men, we could and should have won the game. In the end he bottled it. Thought the back 4 did well considering they all barely knew each other, Routledge looked our only decent attacking outlet and that's it. Rest were not even average.
  15. Disappointing the Butt is playing. Hughton's away sides are set up from the Allardyce school of thinking. More concerned about losing than actually trying to win the game.
