I don’t think there is a chance of a takeover and anyone who still believes must now surely accept it’s at least nowhere near close because Bruce would simply not still be here. 11 months and people still try to sell this as a matter of when not if. March is upon us and Bruce is still here and the gap is 3pts. Even if it was approved no one is going to pay £350m for a club on the cusp of relegation. The only real chance of a takeover is if we go down and if AS wins her court case and had the money to go 50/50 on a relegated club with the young rueben. She’s by far the most invested party in all this but currently doesn’t have the funds to support a prem club. It certainly won’t be Saudi if we go down or even if we stay up. Think that ship has sailed and all this is about compo for Ashley. Everything else is just smokescreens to keep the fans off Ashley’s back.

Do we think there is a connection with this case and the Takeover ? The only connection is both will fail.

Really depends what the % split is as to whether this is a good move. Surely a billionaire owner doesn’t need Stuart and co on board to save a few million. Can’t be for his relationship with the fans or what he’s done as an owner. Just don’t get that part of it all. If it’s 60/40% then it’s massively baffling. That aside it’s good news for them and something to dream about in these dreary days as a football fan.
