It's going to be so grim when we're torn apart 1-6 from Leeds this season.
-
I’m guessing no one wanted to take a chance on him and loan is the only option. Shows how much his stock has fallen, you can only blame Bruce so much for that.
-
I think the best of lejeune has gone. Isolated this isn't a bad move for everyone. Shame though, under Rafa and fully fit he was one of the best we've had in ages.
-
He’s a good player, he’d have improved us but unless were selling 2 of Clark, lejuene, Fernandez then pretty pointless, especially if we can’t keep him.
-
Mint, three great signings.

You’ve got to respect the fans that chose this and stuck with it. Fucking crazy bastards.

Reminds me of a young Andy Cole.

It’s like getting back with your ex wife who took you for everything you had and has since had 3 kids to 4 other men.

Wilson, Joelinton, ASM, Almiron & Fraser....should have some goals in them next season. You certainly won’t playing all of them at once so we have at least one decent attacking option off them bench.
-
Which is all of them

I’d have been happy with this signing with Staveley in charge. Same goes for Lewis and Fraser. 3 real quality players ready for the league. If we could do that every summer it would be enough for me.

The club was still paying for its relegation, if rafa was here now (minus the history between both) he’d have the same money available. I do think policy has changed though, maybe Rafas want for established players has been taken on board but Ashley was too stubborn to change while he was here.

It’s clearly Ashley making sure the club is staying in the league and not taking any chances so he still gets his full whack. It’s not his money, if the club doesn’t have it then it will have been borrowed. For me it still points to Ashley wanting out, he’s just not thick as fuck like short and knows he needs to protect the asset and not let it go to ruin. With these signings the squad is stronger than last year and a more sellable asset especially if we pick up points early and look to establish survival quickly for sale talks to continue.

Agree with every word, unfortunately.

Who is better for £20m and wants to come here? I'd probably prefer King of the two of them. Manu and Tottenham want him, so doubt he’d be coming here. Watkins is interesting but a gamble. We used up that gamble with joelinton, I doubt we can afford to do it again. Wilson has scored double figures in the PL once and has had a few injuries. He's a gamble. That’s the table we’re dining at. Every player we buy is going to have a black mark or two against them, or they’ll be joining a proper club. Wilson scores goals at this level, so an improvement on what we’ve got. Even an injured Wilson is 3 times more productive than our record signing.
