  1. Keeping him on the bench would be stupid. If manu signed Messi that’s where he’d be simply down to his age. Rashford & martial would be ahead of him. Send him here, just what we need (not what he needs though, poor bugger)
  2. Messi would make manu relevant again. No other player in the world can do that bar cronaldo, even then it’s old ground and wouldn’t have the same impact. Send greenwood on loan for a couple of seasons and play messi and enjoy the once in a lifetime talent. Greenwood will benefit from playing every game. Whoever Messi goes to will be enough to either make them title challengers or winners. If citeh get him Liverpool are going to need to go unbeaten.

    Transfer rumours

Great signing if true. I think he’ll have better offers though.
  4. Merse will go towards their equal opportunities quota. I do expect BAME and women now represented on the show. Not watched it in years, needs a revamp like.
  5. He’ll still cost north of £60m. They rejected £50m last year.
  6. £300k a week. Guess he’ll see half of that and top up elsewhere. £150k pw bargain for someone with ambition.

  8. It's nonsense dreamt up by the vile troll Penn Edwards. They certainly didn't draw up an acquisition plan in April, and won't be submitting a bid imminently. At that rate they may get to the ODT stage by the time were in the Championship. Great plan.

I couldn't tell you either way whether that squad is good enough or not, but what is needed is a large squad due to the amount of games. They seem to have signed players with a history of injuries and that squad looks small. They probably need another 5 players min, 3 being defenders. Don't think anyone is on loan yet so technically they could fill their gaps with loans and have no further outlay.
  10. What could be done? He wanted away and had a ridiculously low release clause which he insisted on before coming here. He got what he wanted out of us and moved on, he was never interested in staying longer than a season.
  11. Absolutely get fucked with that shit. Not you Paully, the consortium and the rags.

  15. I found it very funny how quickly Spain moved to call him up after the below photo happened. IIRC, They called him up immediately after this. They would have been foolish to lose him to Mali, anyway, imo. He is so different to the players they already have. I think he did. Might be age, it certainly was a factor, but he didn't have it in him to make the grade and i'm not overly sold he'd do it now at a top club. I think if he moves in the next few weeks and its to a CL club he'll struggle, and history will repeat itself. If Traore moves to a CL club it'll be the same for him. Might work for Spain having him as a supersub, but if tht's his role at a CL club, was it worth spending £60m on him? Technically he's decent, nowt special. When at manu too many holes in his game which he's improved on, but not to the level needed to be a mainstay at a CL club. I do not understand the idea that he wasn't up to grade at Man U. He was 21 or 22 at the time and made less than five appearances I believe. He was signed under Ferguson and Moyes had no interest. It was a waste of time for everyone involved, and I believe Zaha is quite bitter about it. The boy was never given a chance to make the grade. The likes of Dan James and Tahith Chong have had more chances. Older than Matty L and he’s been written off on here besides scoring more goals against manu that zaha managed for them. Zaha is massively bitter about everything, and got to agree with GJ, he’s a c*** with a massive chip on his shoulder. I think James and Chong getting games says more about where manu are than anything else. Don't think Zaha's the bitter one here What’s to be bitter about?
  16. He has. He’s reached the top of his game, which is a regular start for Everton. If his agent moves him to a club too big for him (and zaha himself is too bit headed to realise he’s not good enough) then that’s the end of his career as he’s loaned out before losing his pace and ending up doing the circuits of turkey & China. 4 goals last season. 1 more than ASM in a better team and ASM is 22. I know which one I’d rather have. A 22 year old ASM vs a 22 year old zaha, not even a contest.

  18. Why though if it’s true? Manu decided it wasn’t worth the time keeping him on as he had too many flaws in the areas I’ve highlighted. Zaha made the right move and has managed to get the very best out of himself (2018) but his limit has been reached and season gone wasn’t great at all. He’s an Everton player, that’s his ceiling.
  19. Shame we didn't make a move.

  21. Traore can now cross a ball, but do think the man on the end of it is doing the work of anticipating where it’s going to go. It’s generally random, but fast paced and with bend, so gets in to areas where defenders struggle. So add that to fast and strong, with the ability to run with the ball and you have a very effective player. He’s pretty much a one trick pony imo and isn’t Spanish team level, but could have some impact as a sub against tired minds and legs (pretty much his best role for wolves) If he moved to a big club technically and mentally he’d be found out, like zaha at manu.
  22. Loan? Decent move for him. Hope he goes on to do very well.
