Manager 3, sacked for having his fingers in the till would lead me to a manager who has managed in England and Wales, whose past employer was subsequently highly questioning of his transfer dealings and if they were really pissed off may have attempted to black ball him when he was close to getting another club. Sound familiar?

As things are starting to spread beyond Allardyce, thought it would be worth having an own thread for all the football scandals rather than dilute our glee at Allardyce's failure. So then, the Telegraph tonight.... Cardiff look fucked over not reporting unusual payments on Ravel Morrison....
-
The extended quote on the one that used to take bungs and is now whiter than white now he has money. Described as a wheeler dealer in main article. Redknapp?
-
If I was Allardyce I couldn't go back there with thoughts constantly thinking that he would be England manager were it not for his idiocy.
-
Doesn't even have the dignity to name and apologise to Roy Hodgson in that statement
-
It's going to be Southgate interim. No one good is available, and the FA won't risk anyone else at least while the Telegraph have days worth of material on other managers. A few results against the mighty Malta and Stunning Slovenia and he will suddenly end up with a contract up to 2018.

Has any other manager at any high level football team been sacked after 1 match?
-
Gross misconduct? Statement says they mutually agreed to part ways. Normally money involved with those words.
-
Do FA have to do a Freedom of Information? I would like to know the value of his severance package if so. Bet he still managed to pocket £2-3m in the end, not bad for a single game.
-
Them Chilean miners stuck underground were stuck for two days longer than Allardyce was England manager.
-
I seem to recall the guy appointing him retiring or something. Regardless the FA assuming he is sacked which I still haven't seen confirmed have actually done rather well from this affair.
-
Shame he did all that lying in court. Sack Pardew need to bring themselves back now just to remind everyone of that judge's comment on his credibility.

Having never seen a major trophy in my lifetime either for Newcastle or England, if the Telegraph have stung Pardew too it will be my finest moment in football. Is this just wishful thinking or is there a story there ? Telegraph day they have dirt on at least ten managers in England. So both.

My mistake for some reason his job acceptance tweet appeared in my feed. Still funny though, wanting to make us proud. Well Sam we are so proud of you and that big pile of money you nearly got yourself.
-
Allardyce posted a thanks to his fans on Twitter then deleted it. I just saw it. He is gone.
-
Can't see anything other than a fake SSN account and Piers Morgan?
-
Allardyce statue for Sunderland please.
-
Southgate to be made interim manager.
-
Have a feeling the Telegraph will come in and Pardew will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory
-
Didn't Allardyce boast of the house in Spain he bought with his Newcastle payoff. By agreeing to resign I'm sure the FA will have bought him another house.

It is a pattern of England recruitment in recent years, plus many other managerial appointments not to turn towards something similar. Bruce as an old guard PFM is too similar. There is risk too of further stings and controversies down the line. So even if Bruce is innocent the FA will go with someone whose CV doesn't look like they have any dirty laundry behind the sofa waiting to be found by the press. What's on Steve Bruce's CV that may suggest he's got some dirty laundry? Just because he's managed a lot of average PL/Championship clubs? Allardyce and Redknapp have always had allegations surrounding them but I'm pretty sure Bruce has never had anything dodgy about him except his nose and always employing his son. I might be missing something obvious but I can't remember any allegations against him Have you been paying attentions of the scandal? Telegraph has dirt on over ten high profile managers involved in English football. Once all these come out it is going to be hard for the FA to look at any of the old guard, purely from the risk of association regardless of whether they are found to be clean.

lnexperience and rapid success makes him a favourite as he has had less time in management to be corrupted but otherwise has Proven he has some capability.
