Bet he tries to play the guilt trip on us: "look at all those everyday staff that have lost their jobs because of relegation and fans not going to games"
  2. Please stay I beg you. We are prepared to offer Bobby Moncur as a human sacrifice....

Going to try a bit of positivity - from the sounds of things he is the type of player that Rafa likes to see leading the line. So a year together with Rafa in the Championship and we would be returning to the Premier League with the English Fernando Torres.
  4. It happens, Spurs were impressed enough to pay £10m for Bassong when he was worse than Titfuck Bumble.
  5. Unless it is an inspirational appointment I will not follow any Rafa-less team next year.

    Good. Another Carr failure.
  7. I think that there are a few players that if we keep hold of we can do really well in the Championship especially if we have Rafa as coach. The players we must try to keep whatever the circumstances knowing they will be the best players in the division are: Townsend Lascelles Krul Mbemba Dummett Perez (probably the most difficult given interest) Aarons Mbabu The next list of players I think can also be great for us in the right circumstances: Mitrovic De Jong Anita (as a RB) Tiote Armstrong Darlow Next we have a bunch of players who can support the rest of the squad adequately: Elliott Colback Haidara Every other senior player represents the poison at this club and must be removed.
  8. What's cringey about doing so, the gesture will be appreciated
  9. Don't think any combination of players would have done it today we were all over the shop in attack, although we defended very well. Another month and we would have a few more home wins and away draws and stayed up
  10. Stick him to rot with the under 12s for the rest of his career.

    Resign now you useless blob.
  12. He should just stay where he is. He needs to be somewhere where the planets align. Other than financially, he wouldn't benefit personally from the move and I don't think he is particularly financially motivated.
  13. Considering how Anita has been shuffled around and out of the team he's been a model pro all the time he's been here TBH. Wouldn't call him a model pro. Clearly has a balanced personality but he doesn't have that spirit of determination on the pitch a model pro needs. He is doing well at right back now tho. I've gone from wanting to punch him in the face to wanting him to continue at right back for the foreseeable future.
  14. Is the Norwegian Cup worth a multiple? Lots of top division teams away at lower division ones at 5pm
  15. FFS why? Because when we bring him on he normally changes the game in our favour and is an outlet to relieve pressure. I think he was referring to the poor match day thread etiquette of typing as if someone had scored.
  16. Had Townsend captain and Darlow in goal on fantasy football today
  17. Cynic in me thinks we are possibly releasing him early on the quiet with some extra financial incentive because he has a contract extension trigger clause and we don't want another Jonas case.
  18. Mays well add Juve to it to top it up. Roma and Dortmund could certainly take it up a notch too. Thanks for the tip. Roma match was going a bit iffy so cashed out a 15 bet at 230. Am not going to check if I was right to cash out.
  19. Nooooooooooooo. The back 4 picks itself until end of season now. Anita should keep his place as right back.

I can see confidence returning to the side, and I think having Dummett, Tiote and Colback back and replacing Janmaat for Anita has made a huge difference to the solidity of the team. We have as good a chance as any and have really turned the heat up on Sunderland and Norwich.
  21. I think that this case shows where the clubs problems really are. Those in charge continually lie and treat its staff badly. Players will not bust a gut for the club if they don't like how they are all treated.
  22. He's usually on the bench IIRC. Probably sums up his role at a good club, bit for every game, but there to be called in and relied upon where the need arises. The guy helped to save us from relegation. He burned himself out for this club for several years whilst others hid.
