The Sun have probably mistranslated his name as well given the difficulty of this. Will probably turn out that his name is actually Serius Mydude or something.
-
You realise that his name is only Sirous Mahjoob in the Western alphabet, and if his dealings have only been in Arab nations thus far then there is no reason for him to be on English google?

I work with an Englishman and he had never heard of Mike Ashley before he bought NUFC

In fact if KK comes back, there is going to be a musical of this using a reworked version of the Abbey Road medley of our past season. Here comes the Joe King, Here comes the Joe King, Everybody's laughing, Everybody's laughing, Here comes the Joe King. Mean Mister Ashley sleeps in the park Shaves in the dark trying to save paper Sleeps in a hole in the road Saving up to buy some clothes Keeps a ten bob note up his nose Such a mean old man Such a mean old man Well you should see Polythene Llamb She's so good-looking but she looks like a man Well you should see her in drag dressed in her polythene bag Yes you should see Polythene Llamb Yeah yeah yeah Shearer came in thru the bathroom window Golden slumbers (we get relegated) Carry that Weight (KK comes back) The End

Was just listening to this song and made me think of KK: You never give me your money You only give me your funny paper and in the middle of negotiations you break down I never give you my number I only give you my situation and in the middle of investigation I break down Out of college, money spent See no future, pay no rent All the money's gone, nowhere to go Any jobber got the sack Monday morning, turning back Yellow lorry slow, nowhere to go But oh, that magic feeling, nowhere to go Oh, that magic feeling Nowhere to go Nowhere to go One sweet dream Pick up the bags and get in the limousine Soon we'll be away from here Step on the gas and wipe that tear away One sweet dream came true... today Came true... today Came true... today...yes it did One two three four five six seven, All good children go to Heaven

Yep Who spoke to him about it? Mr Sundlofer
-
Thats the problem, he isn't someone who the Western world have known about until today, so we don't have a clue. There are probably fifteen different ways his name is spelt.

I agree with your head shaking. Sirius Black was good.

Lets look all the claims, and what seems to be true Llambias has told the players a takeover is imminent. Source has been right in the past. Llambias has spoken to the media about it. That doesn't normally happen, but last time he did so, nothing happenned. The Sun identifies the bidder as Sirous Mahjoob. Not at that stage clear on the reliability of this. Seymour Pierce confirms Sirous as interested but downplays progress to date. Direct quotes from Mahjoob about his interest and his plans in Arabic press. No direct proof that Mahjoob is the man Llambias is talking about.

My main worry about Keegan himself is how the players will respond to him coming back after he left them and shatterred their confidence.
-
Dont forget he'll need two weeks to pass the fit and proper persons test. I can imagine a big stand-off on appointments, signings etc over that period, especially if Keegan is involved.

Worst post of the millennium.

He needs to find the actual article on this website: http://www.ilna.ir/

UAE is a magnet for any Arabic businessman worth his salt. His name though does suggest he is Iranian.
-
I've just had a look at the news agency. They look like a proper, controlled Iranian news source. Could see the plausibility in no-one except a fluent Arabic (Persian speaking) person being able to read it. A few select articles are translated over to the English version, hopefully they will do this.
-
they are quoting an interview with a news agency.
-
For what its worth, this is probably todays news. Come back in three weeks for the next installment.
-
Yeah it does, although I think you might be whooshing
-
Been a while since I studied Iranian but apparently Manjoob is a fan of this forum and says he's spent many an Arabian Night laughing at the Kinnear dog. In that case I'll give him 10 laughs to thank him for his interest: :kinnear: :kinnear: :kinnear: :kinnear: More if he buys us.

Iran isn't such a bad country to be fair. If you look past ahmydinnerjacket and the clerics, the people are pretty sound.
