To be honest, I'm sure that more than .1% of the fan base are a bit perturbed by the Shearer or no-one else mentality, we need a good manager that is backed by the board. Shearer is a candidate, but I fear that if we keep harping on about Shearer, and then someone equally credible comes in, that manager has already lost.
