  1. If I was the owner of NUFC and was fucking minted, I'd end Zog's career to be honest.
  2. For a start, we don't know if that was what insulted him. Secondly, why now? I'm not a Zog fan, but it's just a testament of one of the many wrong goings on that show that everyonein charge needs to go.
  3. The most recent estimate suggested that he has lost £1.1bn in about 18 months (58% of his wealth)
  4. To be honest, I think there is now only one route that is likely to get Ashley his money back, and no-one, least of all myself is going to like this: Go down. Pocket the parachute payments, the sales, and the savings in wages, and gamble on the youth system being good enough to bring us straight back up. I just can't perceive any other face -saving scenario.
  5. I'd say it is around about £120m to £130m (or alternatively £30m plus the loan Mr. Ashley) Going below £100m in a matter of days though, as no expenditure will dramatically reduce the probabilty of a buyer having a Premier League club to play with.
  6. Results in December. Time for a recount... Less than £100m - 4 (10.8%) £100m to £150m - 6 (16.2%) £150m to £200m - 11 (29.7%) £200m to £250m - 9 (24.3%) £250m to £300m - 2 (5.4%) £300m to £400m - 0 (0%) £400m or more. - 5 (13.5%) Total Voters: 37
  7. Yep, you guys have goalscoring midfielders. We don't.
  8. He doesn't need to open his mouth and tell the whole world about it.
  9. Different managers have different injury records, and these records seem to follow them throughout their tenures, and as such causality can be drawn from training methods. You never seem to see good managers at clubs with bad injury records. Even Freddy Shepherd realised that the manager can play an important role in cutting down on player injuries by the end.
  10. If he's not enjoying the job, then enthusiasm isn't going to rub off on the players. Instant sackable offence that in my opinion.
  11. Always has been. The amount of muscular injuries we've picked up since Robson left has been laughable. Allardyce/Keegan succeeded in reducing it, for a brief spell mind.
  12. a) We were like this before the injuries b) the majority of the injuries were probably the fault of Kinnear's training methods. how so? Because it is becoming almost statistically impossible for there to be no causality.
  13. It is no coincidence that players are picking up non-contact injuries. Training is at fault.
  14. It would be against MLS rules for Galaxy to sign Owen unless Beckham leaves.

  16. I'd like to clarify that this thread bump has nothing to do with Keegan. It has more to do with the quality of players at our disposal, and the ineptitude of the management to get the best out of us.
  17. shouldn't the player's take some responsibility as well ffs Do you think they don't try on purpose? Funny how a good manager can completely change their attitudes. Perhaps they have bad attitudes, but it is up to the manager to sort out the man-management. Why is it always the Newcastle players that seem to turn into bad eggs? As far as I'm concerned, half the players would be like this if a manager had no control over the motivation of his players. The players are unmotivated, and the blame lies solely with Ashley, Kinnear and co. fuck off the player's should be motivating themselves, a player that need's motivating should not be at the club they are paid to try 100% yes i do believe 1/2 of the team are not trying and there's a few fan's that will say the same Ask any manager that is worth his salt: Robson, Ferguson, Wenger, Keegan, Mourinho. They would say that motivating their players was their primary responsibility. Something Kinnear won't take responsibility for. What do you base that shit on? (Apart from wanting attention obviously) His post-match interviews, where he'll make any excuse under the sun.

    Kinnear Out

Don't think he'd come if we could go down. That's why I'm advocating someone at a lower level, because they would be making a genuine step-up.

You get a lower level manager with a good record and lots of self confidence. Take a risk, if we go down, they'll have a better chance of coming up than Kinnear, and if we stay up, even better. If Kinnear stays, we'll be in this position in the Championship next season. If Messi-ah hadn't started that Martinez thread, who would you have suggested? I suggested Martinez weeks ago in this very thread iirc. If not here somewhere else. Now apologise.

  22. Look at this thread. Look at this team. What's changed (injuries aside)? In my mind the players are good enough, but the club management needs sorting out. urgently.
