Is that Rafa sucking on a polo mint? Just reacting to the local rags This post reminds me of the glory days in about 2010/2011 where random people would walk up to me and shout briefcase wanker at me which might have been bad for me but actually ended up in me shagging a few lovely young ladies well above my level who went up to me at night clubs and called me that. Unfortunately I haven’t aged so well so by the time I became aware of the Inbetweeners and my untapped potential as a lookalike fanny magnet the opportunity had passed.

This post is about a team that spent £150m on fullbacks. Not sure I’d want Walker in goal either

Nothing significant will move forward today or for a few days now, 17 people have died in a bus crash on a street named after Sheikh Khaled’s grandfather so they won’t be able to complete now until the mourning phase is over.

Sheikh Khaled : I am Iron Man

Personally think we would have lined up stronger and more competitive but for the proximity of the Champions League Final. Southgate just didn’t have time to work with his best players.

Every day needs a theme to keep the thread going. May I take inspiration from the above and suggest apocalyptic events that may happen before the takeover happens...

Winner of this year’s Darwin award to be honest although obviously bad for the other who died. His behaviour risked the lives of others out on the road too, completely reckless.
-
I’d quite fancy Memphis here to be honest

Apologies for the generalisation but my personal experience is that recruiters are the biggest bullshitters I deal with in business

Thread title change klaxon
-
Surely it is Sheikh Bin Zayed
-
Think Ashley will sell but I do think he will stall completion if he has the chance to obtain an increased offer from a yet unknown rival bidder
-
We bash out new Ashley threads faster than George RR Martin All gone a bit Feast for Crows
-
Reckon that will be the next problem if the takeover happens. We’ll sign tier two/three players like Mata, Deulofou, and Ryan Fraser and people will actually be disappointed and the media will drum all this up.
-
He’s a Liverpool fan so he’s referring to the Champions League
-
So Rafa has been to both European Cup Finals to scout players for next season.

Front page of Sun is Barton punching someone on the face at his Stag Do

I suppose the solution is as it is a 3 year period to spend as much as possible Year 1 then use future new commercial deals and player sales to fund future years (which may have to be more frugal)

Apparently a hot air balloon has been seen flying over Durham

What people forget is that it’s not just Luke Edwards working freelance, it is the Telegraph, an institution with worldwide contacts. It is Edwards job to operate the machine but there will be people within the telegraph business or Middle East departments who will be working hard to research, delve into their contacts, and find stuff out.

I just hope that they don’t send Lee Ryder in an investigative trip to Dubai, the world couldn’t cope with the redness of his skin

Well we were promised developments on Friday so let’s see what happens at the weekend

No reason to get excited or despondent yet, lets just continue with our day to day lives

This was what was said on page 990 of the last thread and it’s worth rehighligting Offline last_monetarist New Member View Profile Personal Message (Offline) Re: Various: Mike Ashley agrees sale of NUFC to Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan « Reply #24734 on: Today at 06:21:52 am » Quote from: Penn on Yesterday at 11:56:32 pm This guy is a running joke in the UAE - the black sheep/whipping boy of the royal family whose personal wealth is relatively paltry compared to more senior members of the Al Nahyan dynasty. The Liverpool deal fell through because they realised they were dealing with a fantasist who didn't actually have access to the cash being talked about. This will end in tears one way or another. Yup, the guy is considered a bit of a laughing stock in the Emirates. The folks at Liverpool were scrambling to disassociate themselves from the story when his side leaked it to the press. I'd consider Mike Ashley a certifiable genius compared to this fella. I'd advise caution, this isn't a sovereign entity purporting to buy the club. We have harrowing case studies of White Knight owners from the Middle East trying to rebuild two proud English clubs (Forest & Pompey) over the past decade.

Can’t celebrate anything until the PL are notified, there are too many chancers out there
