I have a 2 year old and I waited until my career progression had settled a bit into my 30s. It’s the wise way of doing things.

That is two players now Kenedy being the other one who are supposedly adversely affected by having babies. Yes it’s a basic right, but they are at the peak of their careers and if they had half a brain could wait until their 30s once their career has nearly finished.

My personal view is that the pair did well enough with the club performance wise to justify the money they took.

All we have to do is look at the transfer reality to realise how well Eafa has done. The only affordable good players as far as Ashley is concerned are defenders, and in this instance Rafa has built one of the best defences in the country, strength in depth too. Imagine he was allowed to pay the going rate for midfielders and strikers too.

If he knows al the media(wich he probably does) why hasn't he denied it to anybody if he's not interested in a takeover. What's in it for him being linked with us if it's not true? It’s typical of the club though we pile high on players in positions that are relatively cheap to acquire, so Rafa has in this instance been able to sign good players. It’s like when we had Sissiko, Wijnaldum, Perez and de Jong who all preferred the same advanced midfield position.

He’s an absolute traitor now. Really let us down.

Personally I think it will be a hard rebirth, if he can’t get his money back and he can’t get us back into the PL he will either wind us up or relocate the club and we’ll just be left with a council owned stadium and have to start from the very beginning. Or alternatively he will sell us cheap to some chancer who accepts various commitments to Ashley that will prevent us from doing well
