Do you know when the next lot are due to be announced? I thought they were doing dec and jan together.

Something tells me it will be a lot less popular this time round! Last year we were better than them so victory was expected home and away, this year, a point would be a miracle!

Has to be enough now. She's been out of her depth for 2 seasons. I think this will show us how genuine the club are about wanting the women's team to be successful. All it will take is someone to come in and stop playing 5 at the back, and that will probably see an instant improvement!

They dont really invest at all in their womens team, been called out for it quite a lot. Would probably get relegated this season if they hadn't changed the rules!

Whats the deal with transfers for the CL, is it a no go? A friend is likely to get a ticket for leverkusen, but isn't going to travel so has offered it to me. Is there any way of making that work?

Honestly this should have been the easiest time ever to get promoted to the WSL. Another transfer window wasted, and probably another season wasted. She needs to go, and someone needs to get some sort of proper strategy in place!

Yea im pretty sure I've seen articles where its been said we've invested quite heavily in the facilities there as they weren't anywhere close to kingston park. Think today will be our hardest (non derby) game of the season. Birmingham will finish 1st or 2nd, so playing them away will be a huge test. Fingers crossed Nobbs is starting and we can get a bit of stability in the team!

Noticed today there was quite a lot of backroom staff knocking about too, some of them had to stand as not enough room in the dugout for them all. Would love to know what they actually do, as others have pointed out, there seems to be no clear direction, no ability to change, and generally no energy or motivation.

Worst I've seen us play, and this should probably our easiest game of the season.

I was wondering what was going to happen with our keeper situation! She was way down the pecking order at Chelsea, so any game time would be a positive for her. Would be great to get a good relationship with Chelsea, they hoard players in the same way the men's side do, so plenty or opportunities for loans there!

Still find our transfer 'strategy' weird. Just signing players who were really good a few years ago, is not going to set us on a long term path. 1 or 2 is great in terms of experiences, but if we do go up, we're going to have to replace pretty much our entire starting 11. It's exactly what LCL are having to do this summer, but their owner is using the multiple clubs she already owns to support this!

I think we'll see a bit of movement in the WSL over the next couple of weeks, and then championship clubs will be fighting for the scraps to bolster their squads after that. London City lionesses are doing great business in the transfer market. Hoping we can get promoted and do similar next summer!!

Most Bayern players will have been playing in the Euros amd wont have started pre season, so that is not anywhere near an accurate reflection of where we're at! A lot of them are German internationals and they only got knocked out on Wedneaday night!! A win is a win though

Weird that they've just announced it now. Surely if the rule is games have to be on grass this season, they've known about this for a while! Will kill any chance of building atmosphere at games!

First 1 million pound transfer in the women's game has gone through today. Olivia Smith from Liverpool to Arsenal!

Mannion is probably the first player we've bought/been linked to, who could at least do half a job for us in the WSL if we got promoted! Hopefully Murphy too, as got high hopes for her if we can keep a hold of her!

Totally agree This is the best chance we'll ever have to get promoted, with potentially 3 going up this year. Would expect a fight between us, Birmingham and Palace for the top 2, but we desperately need some top quality signings!

Sarina has always said she wouldnt select people from the championship as the standard of football isn't good enough at the moment, so that wont happen. We need to target the U23 players that all the top clubs have hoarded!

If Villa do sell their womens team, it will be interesting to see what value they've placed on it. Chelsea sold theirs for 200 million, but they've won the WSL year on year and consistently challenged (but always fallen slightly short) for the champions league. Villa by contrast are awful! They're in the WSL, but constant managerial changes and rubbish transfers mean they're no where near Chelsea levels!

They definitely want our attendances, as they reduced overall in the WSL last season and LCL wont help this year! It should be between us, Birmingham and Crystal Palace for top 3, IF we right the wrongs of last summers transfer window!
