SDo, you actually agree with me then? Why the comment regarding my assessment? Or are you just provoking another row? By the way, still fighting for your country, are you?

I admire your optimism but can you really see Heskey, Lennon, Wright Phillips, Johnson, Carragher, Barry, Green, James as world cup winners?????? I also think your assessment of the other teams above is totally misguided. Germany were playing dog turd though, one of the weakest teams every to have come to a World Cup, they didn't even have any strikers on the pitch, had to rely on a CM, that's how shocking they were. And now the Germans have been beaten, no one is looking 100%, were not but its a better start than most. Plus I never said win it, just go as far as we've been in a while. My assessment of other teams is spot on tbh. I am not a german fan by any shadow of a doubt but that game against Serbia was a disgrace due to the referee wanting to be the star of the show. Inconsistencies all over the place and mostly favouring the serbs. Germany should have won. They had enough opportunities including a missed penalty and they will still qualify easily for the next round. England are a joke. They are full of big noters and under achievers at international level, playing on past reputations. The midfield lacks any sort of penetration and the lack of use of width negates the reason Heskey is on the park. Your assessment of Italy, Portugal, Brazil and Spain is after ONE game. They will all come good and go further in the tournament than England, who rely too heavily on one player.....ROONEY. Sorry mate, England are CRAP and dont deserve to go any further in the comp..................Thank God.

England back in blighty by next friday, Algeria and USA to progress hehehe

Agreed...........but we usually lose on penalties or freekicks meant as crosses rather than shots (ronaldinho in 2002) Anyone on here hopes that Mexico and South Africa progress from their group instead of France and Uruguay? Thought it was an excellent game between these two as an opener for the cup. I thought you supported Australia? and England, mate. I was just having a bit of fun the other night, ragging everybody up. Personally, I dont think Oz will get out of the grpup stages and I dont think England will get past the quarters. My dark horse for the cup is Holland bnut I think Spain would be favourites.

18 year old Australian winger who is apparently meant to be the next Harry Kewell. He had a good couple of seasons in the Australian A-League for Brisbane Roar and then obviously moved to Utrecht as stated above. He also missed the cut for the final 23 man squad for the WC. An excellent talent and I feel Verbeek made a big mistake not including him, from what I saw last night. I mentioned to someone on this forum a couple of months ago that Oar will be highly sought after and they said they would contact the club. Apparently, Utrecht beat a whole host of european clubs to his signature. One to watch for the future. Yeah ive gotta agree here. SURELY a better option than Richard Garcia as a back up winger who looks like absolute crap at the moment. They do play on opposite flanks though so there goes my opinion... I wouldnt have picked Garcia in the first place, to be honest and I think they should have also included Carle. I thought the Yanks looked really dangerous on the counter and made our much heralded defence look ordinary however, I think England will easily beat them because their defence looked crap as well. Nicky Carle has caught my eye a few times playing for Bristol City & Palace. I was a bit surprised he seemed to be nowhere near getting in the final squad. He is a good player but for some reason, Verbeek will not give him a chance. I will be glad when Verbeek goes becvause he is too negative for my liking. Anyway, Carle has returned to Australia and signed for Sydney.

Geez, I would have Arshavin ahead of Cole any day. Better all round attacker, in my opinion

You would need a hell of a lot of s**** to shoot the hundreds of thousands of English emigrants who have left your country over the years. Furthermore, given the probability of a better life elsewhere, I would hazard a guess you would jump ship too. What does that even mean? If I end up (and hope to) live abroad at some point in my life, it won't mean I abandon the country of my birth and I certainly wouldn't be trash talking the way you are. It's a bit sad really, you're not English and you're not Australian - you're just a half way traitor stuck somewhere in the middle. You need to wake up and smell the roses. You obviously cannot see the sense of humour in all this. I am not trashing England at all. I still miss many things about the country but lifestyle, economically, socially and great many other areas, I know I am better off here. It is a personal taste but having lived here for 30 years, I am used to it now. Most of my comments on this topic have been purely to stir up the nationalistic members on the forum as a bit of fun. I still enjoy coming back for holidays and seeing family and friends, something I will be doing at Christmas. However, personally, I am better off here and love this country just as much. I daresay that there are a few forum members who have been to Oz and I would bet my last dollar that the majority of them loved the place. Mind you, we will get the Ashes back off you lot next Aussie summer..............LOL

Billy...you totally disregarded the word ILLEGAL in your statement. Illegal immigrants trying to get into Australia are caught and dumped on Christmas Island and left to rot. England tends to reward your illegals by giving them copious amounts of free handouts at tax payers expense whilst they spout all sorts of rubbish and hatred for their new adopted country. Yeah, we really are fucking up big time over here and should learn from England..............LMAO
-
Think you've got us confused with people from New Zealand and sheep No, mate, I think he is just confused...................full stop..................LOL
-
You have experience of this cruelty to animals, have you?
-
It is actually not spelt POMS but POMES. This stands for Prisoner of Mother England. There are hundreds of thousands of ex pat POMES out here who left the kotherland for a better life. By the way, how is your illegal immigrant situation being dealt with? Still under control, is it?

Lazy f***ing convicts Yep, and we f***ing love it too. Still, whilst you are freezing your butts off in snowdrifts, we are having BBQs on the beach..........Life sucks, doesnt it? Way to make friends. No worries, Kid. Our winters here are 22 degrees C and we struggle to keep our sun tan down.......LOL Didn't you once PM me saying you were in the Australian SAS? You certainly sound like a tough guy. No, Ronaldo, not IN the SAS, but you are not far from the truth. Still fighting for your country, are you?>

Jeez, I am glad I dont have someone like you to rely on when the going gets tough. You are so negative. You have NO IDEA how Lovenkrands will go next season. If you did, you would be the God you tend tom portray yourself as. His overall record supports the fact that given the service, he will score goals, whatever the opposition, be it Chelsea or Charlton. He is not a main striker but he has the ability to score goals. I remember the goal he scored against Middlesbrough in the PL the year we went down....../hit first time, on the half volley from a hard low cross. An excellent effort. Some of the goals he scored last season were brilliant. It doesnt matter who the opposition is, if he can create the space to have a crack at goal, he will generally get his efforts on target. Lets just wait and see.
-
He shouildnt even be in the squad. He is useless.
