FWIW, I want to see him have a run. I know he's going to piss me off at times, but if it's the choice between him and Raylor/Obertan... it's not even a choice, tbh.
-
He clearly sees things other players don't. That one ball he put in to Ba is a ball no one else in the team would have the imagination to do or try.

Takes a corner as comfortably as his face takes a smile.

Smashing player doing his best in a team that hardly plays to his strengths.

He doesn't lose it any more often than the other fuckers, it just gets noticed more because of the expectancy when he has the ball, and because Pardew's drawn attention to it. He lost it countless times today, but like said totally outweighed by what he does when he doesn't miss control it, pass it to an opposing player, fall over or run into a cul-de-sac. It's a myth created by Pardew that he loses it so often. Seriously everybody loses the ball but people only pay attention when it's HBA thinking 'Hmm, Pardew has a point I guess'. It's not a myth, man. There's loads of times when, rather than play a simple ball to keep possession, he'll try something daft to keep the ball himself. I know a lot of times it would mean passing to Danny Simpson, but that's life...

Balls into the box were rubbish all day: from corners, FKs, and open play. Half of that is due to Jonas being the one putting the ball in 50% of the time, like.

Has prob wasted much of his talent due to his mentality & we dont see it. Like Spurs earlier in the season, hes just a different player against Sunderland. Must be motivation/confidence linked somehow. There's probably 15 games he's played in his career when he's looked a brilliant player. Dunno why he's never achieved that level on a consistent basis.

He made a meal of it, but was an important player for us today. Just never shoot again, please, Cheick. Thanks.

Pocket rocket? How gay are you?

Don't understand how he can perform so well against one team. Just another reason to hate him, man.

Aye, right. Bramble has mobility, strength and can play the ball well with both feet. Williamson's a league below Bramble on his worst day. Fuck off! Bramble on his worst day? Titus Bramble on his worst day? Titus Bramble on his worst day looked like he'd never kicked a ball before, man. Like he'd never even seen a ball.

He looked like evil Danny today. Still played like the usual, shit Danny, though.

Hold on. I thought we reduced it to a brawl first half? They were actually playing football. nah- cattermole came out to kick and get our players upset- set the tempo for the first half. They're the ones who created chances and passed the ball around. We lumped it and chased shadows.

Exactly what he had to do to mute MON Na. Don't like to see that type of thing going down, really. Looks like we're lowering ourselves to mackem-level. Did i miss him doing something other than a bit of fist-pumping etc? Looked like he was shouting over at O'Neill, then they had a bit of an altercation at some decisions. The atmosphere probably got to him, but he needs to stay the boss, imo.

He's been rubbish, man. Their big mistake was getting him in the first place.
-
Also, Raylor's set pieces today: not good. His corners from the right: fucking terrible.

Spot on. Aye, good scores, them.
-
His behaviour in the dugout didn't look terribly classy.

I hope those supporting Ben Arfa today will be behind him next time he loses the ball terribly in a dangerous location, dribbles it out for a goal kick, overplays, etc. etc.

If Shola takes the pen, we win that, tbh. Pardew was a lucky boy.
