This, basically.
-
He's contender for fucking leprechaun of the season.
-
Blimey! What happened to this thread?!
-
Steven Gerrard was applauded when he came over for a corner in the not-too-distant past, I seem to remember. How times change.
-
Injured.
-
One is more sack-centric.
-
Blatantly hates lefties: started with 3, ended with 0.
-
Rozehnal was bad and very casual.
-
Good post, bluegeordie.
-
Milner, Zog, Butt, Carr were all SBR signings, I think.
-
I think it'd help if Big Sam let us in on his masterplan. At the minute no one's got a clue what he's trying to do.

I voted for the 2nd last option although I'd change January for May unless somebody who was obviously better came earlier. I can’t see any point in sacking him for the sake of it, we haven't been too good at that historically. But you've essentially lost confidence in him? How will he win you around?
-
We will just win? I like it.

No one's forgetting it, but this was a home match: no team should be as comfortable as that at St. James'. this isnt the keegan years. we dont rape and pillage teams anymore. liverpool spend god knows how many millions in the summer, we spend hardly anything in comparison and from looking at that match thread (post kick off) most of the posters expected victory. we cant just beat every team anymore. we are overrated in our own heads. I'm sorry, but even the likes of Birmingham City, Sunderland, etc. played much better against Liverpool than we did. It's nowt to do with being gung-ho, it's about giving them a fucking game, at least.
-
That isn't the purpose of this thread. I just wanted everyone to state their position.
-
I don't understand. We will just win?

9 of the players are his signings and he doesn't appear to know what to do with them, I've seen nothing to suggest that giving him more of his own signings will help. Just to keep you honest, Mick: how have you voted?
-
I mean. Aye: we are clearly better than Arsenal.
-
We should never, ever play like that at home ever again. It's scandalous, tbh.
-
Top post, apart from the bit in bold, whicih is purely delusional - i think everyone would agree. Aye, we do tend to play better against the big teams, after all.

Good work, chaps. Let's cross our fingers and hope he can learn from his mistakes.

I'll not comment about the managers as I've done it above. Our problems are because of the manager, I'd agree about giving him time if it was in spite of him but it isn't, he's creating his own problems and is displaying the same traits as the last two managers. He appears to be clueless as Roeder and I didn't expect to be saying that about him. Maybe he will adjust, I think we'll know one way or the other by the end of the season. That's basically my feelings, Mick. I pray that he'll come around, learn from this and we can move forward. I have my doubts, but as you say, we'll have a clearer picture at the end of the season.
