Awaits Bruce to roll up to take training tomorrow. Hope it is true. We all just need to move on mentally. Even if its to attack the next appointment!

Isn't everyone left guessing why Bruce is still here as well? It is all guess work and there are likely lots of logical reasons he hasn't been removed, more than the negatives thrown out here. It is human nature to hit the panic button and run to the negatives, we have been conditioned to it under Ashley. We are also all trapped in a glass wall of emotion throughout our fanbase (someone else can gif). Even take away what was the most emotional game since SBR's passing imo, we have come so close to this happening, the euphoria of it actually happening when we were reaching our lowest ebb now the excitement has turned to impatience. It will all come soon people. We have agonized long enough to wait a bit more. We should cherish this wild west moment!

Not according to Fraser but that is certainly only one side of the story! https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/sep/09/ryan-fraser-bournemouth-newcastle-united-steve-bruce I would have no problem with Howe in the interim tbh. Rather Howe than Gerrard, Lampard or Martinez. If we are striking out He has had a long time out of the game readying himself for his next project, time if he is meticulous as all reports of his coaching suggests, to reflect on what went wrong and how to improve his weaknesses. He has worked and got the best out of Wilson and Fraser. It would be a come down. Favre, Rangnick, AVB even are a different league but Howe would be ok for now imo.
-
Maybe it is Favre but he didn't want his first match to be against the club he turned down at the last minute in the summer!
-
Forgot to get his permission to sack Bruce before he got on the plan. DAMN.
-
Some trolling here surely. Might as well stick with Bruce.
-
Fonseca is the worst of all linked for his teams defending isn't he? Should fit in nicely. Favre or AVB for me if its off the scrap heap. We will get Big Phil Scholari lol
-
Yep mcparland and brown are PCP advisors/employees rather than the whole ownership group. Might have changed. Maine PIF have their own too?

Bruce is am absolutely vacuum of all renewed hope and excitement. Needs gone absolutely immediately. They gve him his 1000th game now need to get rid. Regardless of whether they are close to being able to identify/approach a new manager leaving Bruce here any longer is a detriment to everyone.

AVB or Favre seems a bit of a no brainer for now. Turning teams around are both managers bread and butter. Likewise Favre working with youth and a quick attacking style. The comments of some here that followed Dortmund would be concerning though considering how terrible our defence looks right now. AVB's temper maybe a problem too. What he did in a short time at Marseille was impressive and had he had better backing in the transfer market who knows where they would be. Not convinced with Fonseca at all. Reportedly interviewed poorly at Spurs and his sides are usually worse defensively than Favre's.

Agree, he seems like a big bully manager that will fall out with players.

It's like the guillotine had a malfunction and they are working to repair it. Everyone is just standing around waiting. "Well this is awkward.. sorry about this Steve."
-
Within 5 mins of coming on he had stopped tracking back, well in fairness he was nonchalantly walking back just not running or even fucking jogging. Both fouls were unnecessary. He will be better under and actual coach but everyone will be. He is an utter liability and a waste of potential. First out the door in January. Some poor set of fuckers will buy him.

No one has a clue. They only just reported we are only targeting managers out of contract. It's a big appointment. Of what is realistic and out of contract, Favre, AVB or Fonseca seem the best gattuso for the big gamble. Whether they gamble on no premiership experience is another question. AVB would he good in that regard. Favre seems like a great interim or placeholder. Fonseca could be shrewd or a flop. The horrible looming presence of Lampard is grim. Would be another year or more of press pals and pundits blaming the fans and their expectations rather than lampards short comings. If the new owners have identified someone for the longterm I don't think in or out of contract will make a huge difference. They will go for it if the feeling is mutual.

To be fair I thought Manquillo was abducted by aliens on and off throughout the game the amount of times he was missing on spurs attacks. Whether he was ever going to be good enough or not Lewis's confidence must be absolutely non-existent. I love Bruce hammering his defence. If only we had a manager that new something about defending. His comments before the game about only doing management because it was the closest he could get to playing was as ridiculous as it gets too. "not a day I don't wake up wanting to be on the pitch rather than the dugout but this will do." Certainly not the buzz of coaching players, seeing them blossom or learning more about the game. Guess he will never know having never done that in 1000 games.

Tmrw. The whole ground was calling for his head with the new owners there. It's incredibly simple now.
-
He was verging on England discussion under Rafa. Had we pushed on and upgraded around him then who knows. He was an absolute shambles today though they all were ASM aside.
-
Irony is he looked like a changed man for all of a couple of minutes.
-
Literally so surprised we can manage to be this passive we are so passive.
-
Lascelles is a disgrace today
-
Absolutely perfect for the owners to see first hand. 3 points needed but no one can be in doubt now.
-
Off the hook
-
Pen?
-
Wilson off. Gah. Probably sensible but who the fuck is up top lol. Willock too lol
-
ALL THE ATTACKING PLAYERS. BRUCE GIVETH YOU WHAT YOU WANT.
