Isn't Bruce generally at his best the first season at clubs? Bodes well.

Hilarity from Greg Vanney. Up 2-0 and a man up after DC have a player sent off at the end of the first half. Uses up his subs changing almost his entire back line, including two CB's and central midfield, surrenders lead and can't use any attacking subs to help.

Ideally Villa win by one goal on Thursday. Watford beat West Ham on Friday and are safe. West Ham lose to Manure, Villa lose to Arsenal Sets up West Ham and Villa on the last day, which Villa win. Bournemouth get 6 from their last 3 games and don't get thrashed by Man City condemning Villa down on GD after they just condemned West Ham.

Exactly. Bruce complaining they were both soft and what is the point in technology. They are still penalties, whether they are soft or not. VAR is going to go by the letter of the law not whether they think its bloody soft lol -

Sad one. Rest in peace Jackie. As HTT said, I also have strong memories of his Ireland run.

He's done a fantastic job though Steve. Should have put the game to bed in the first half. The team looked ok in the first half. Simply just let Watford in and handed them the game in the second. -
Have to stop playing him in midfield. Liability today again. Bruced for sure.

Really terrible but in good company today.

Gutted for Bournemouth. 3 point there would have been a gamechanger. West Ham and Watford breath a tiny bit easier. Spuds were poor but if Bournemouth play like that against Leicester they might get the win. West Ham still have the nicer fixtures, but with Everton and Southampton playing for nothing Bournemouth could pick something up in the last two games if they are still fighting. Villa/West Ham on the last day could still turn out to be huge.

What it feels like to head the ball for the first time. -
Course they have. Usual blame the victim approach from our top ass. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12023163/ball-is-in-matty-longstaffs-court-now

Going to be tight between Watford and villa. Bournemouth are joining Norwich now.

I almost jokingly posted the day he had that big interview and "vow to score goals" on the restart to say he would never play again. Looks like that's actually going to happen.
-
Quality today. We know he is quality on his day though. Consistency is always the problem.
-
Disappointing. I have kept faith in him as long as I could but he has zero confidence in the final third and wants to get rid of the ball at every opportunity. Nice little layoffs and short passes simply arent enough. He is a luxury player without the luxury. More so he is the anti striker.
