  1. Pardewed like Gutierrez and almost sissoko and turned into the team scapegoat.
  2. Ashley isn't fully responsible for Rangers though. Can't see that being a problem. Can't help wondering why Pardew would jump ship now, especially to a less securepositron at Palace, unless he knows something we haven't yet been told about the future of the club... He was linked last time and when Pulis took over too, right? Thought there were rumours he did indeed fancy it but only as a winding down Job after he had achieved at a big club. Could see that's not panning out and might fancy the change now incase it doesn't happen further down the line. Not least he has the chance to keep them in the premiership now and might fancy the squad they have and possible funds they would give him. If Palace go down they aren't guaranteed an instant return.. Could be a case of if its going to happen now is the time.
  3. Sherwood and Sir Les would surely appeal as a cheap option that would appease the masses give Leslie's links to the club.
  4. Shocked we actually paid money for him. Still not sure what he offers. He does have pace.. And I think power but he looks clueless, with no idea what he should be doing or where he should be playing. In fairness to him he has only ever worked best as a second striker alongside a target man. We have always used him as the target man and he is clearly woefully short of confidence. Looks rubbish either way unfortunately.
  5. Would be wildly gutted if we missed another chance to get someone decent and just end up with a very mediocre Pulis, albeit a wildly better option than Pardew. Don't think the atmosphere will be anything other than apathetic like it has been, regardless. He hasn't done anything tbf. A few quotes about how he is flattered but committed to Newcastle and its forgotten.
  6. Still 110% convinced at least Pardew is trolling, if not Ashley too. Sure Pardew is just angling for a better contract and more to make people realize what we would miss if he were to leave. ironic we are doing exactly that and there are so many fans rejoicing at the potential news.
  7. Benitez would be freakin amazing. While De Boer would be also off the charts, Benitez is fully proven here. Can't see us paying compo or him wanting to leave Napoli though That said would be chuffed next to anyone replacing Pardew.
  8. I can't stand Pulis' brand of football. wasn't awful last season at Palace tbh. Pardews "brand" of football wasn't that bad at reading or Charlton, even west ham. He said he liked free flowing attacking football, he lied and lied again and again. What's your point? A managers perceived brand of football is not always what you will get.
  9. Ok, going to refresh and live this fantasy one more time before I go to sleep and wake up to the firm denials and our miserable lives with Pardew continues indefinitely.
  10. I can't stand Pulis' brand of football. wasn't awful last season at Palace tbh. Pardews "brand" of football wasn't that bad at reading or Charlton, even west ham. He said he liked free flowing attacking football, he lied and lied again and again.
  11. Mike Ashley moves to quash any talk of Pardew leaving by giving him an 8 year lucrative contract extension.
  12. At this point I'd get down on bended knee for Pardew to be at another club and Beardsley managing us. I wholeheartedly agree.. not so much if its Carver though.
  13. Too many people Setting themselves up for a fall here. Although I reckon he would probably get paid more at palace. Just to roll with the wildly blind optimism here.. if only. We would just end up with Beardsley though, or worse Carver promoted.
  14. Come on man. ...home for the night. Will be in for training as usual tomorrow morning.
  15. Don't do this to yourselves people. He is never leaving here. Certainly not to Palace, personal connection or not his ego would never let him. Probably thinks he has a chance at which ever top four team sacks their manager for not winning the league.
  16. Reckon the no show was two fingers up, trolling both the fans that want him out, and also to Ashley. Ashley for leaving him hung out to dry earlier in the year when he was to cheap to sack him in the hopes of him walking. We are never lucky enough to have Pardew leave.
  17. Absolutely gutted for the lad tbh. Could be a useful squad player but has been absolutely shafted by Pardew. Can't feel any hatred for someone that shouldn't be starting for us yet is still picked by the utterly clueless cunt, that again has blame deflected from his continued untouchable self.
  18. The defending in the last phase of that move was nothing short of tragic. 4 players sucked towards the ball, Buckley completely unmarked on the right=hand side. Absolutely pathetic. Aye. Cut Dummy some slack because he was maybe covering for fist pumps but horrendous defending. Worse so fucking predictable
  19. I wouldn't have put Armstrong on ahead of Cisse, but he played well when he came on imo. Point is null when the cunt started Gouffran to begin with. He has been the luckiest manager ever to keep his job. Plays perez when his first and second choice don't work out, forced into playing ameobi, Aarons and Abeid despite literally trying to push two of them out of the club. Plays Sissoko in his proper position finally, again not primarily his choice. Has Cisse suddenly come to his aid despite being dogs hit before and after. Can't stand the cunt. At least we have west ham fans to console with who still hate Allardyce as much as we do Pardew. At least they have the lesser of two evils. Given the choice they would still keep big Sam than have twat face back.
  20. In fairness, Saylor compete absence apart.. Cabella had a mare for that goal.. At least Bellamy seems excited he can finally leave the studio with his paycheck and go home.
  21. Well we have to respect the opposition and not take them for granted, which is why we play two defensive midfielders at home.
