Will go down in history as Englands biggest embarrassment of a manager. A reprieve for the FA don't fuck it up and stays English there simply isn't anyone good enough.
-
We had already gone backwards before he went off injured but we absolutely missed him after he was off too. Hope its not too serious.

Not two points we could afford to drop. Very very disappointing. -

What a fucking surprise. We absolutely deserve that. Wasted opportunity after opportunity and pathetic second half sitting back. -

Hope we don't live to regret finishing the game off. Need to play the same in the second half if not up our game. No way Villa will come out as shite as they were the first half. -

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

Did he not score in 6 home games in a row under Pardew? Pardews response... We are moving you to defensive left midfield. Trust me.. -
So many bloody mistakes its hard to pick one. If we are talking pure fiction and what if's maybe signing Asprilla when we were on a roll.. that said I can't fathom a history without Tino in a toon shirt. Either way for me it is absolutely that 1996 collapse. Compounded by Shearer, Graham Fenton and Blackburn rubbing salt in the wound. Where would we be had we won that title. I really think a period of domination.

What in the actual fuck. Players saving themselves to be rested on Tuesday I guess. -
Penciled in for cup game with murphy apparently.

I think... he is trying to say it is about how the teams were set up and cancelled each other out. Not sure that message got through.
-
Nah was legal. But yes unsporting maybe. Think it was either just before the rules of coming back on the field or the ref had waved him on. Either way Given forgot he was there and was punished. Comedy Gold...if it wasn't us

*Insert photoshopped picture of Hasselbaink high fiving Gayle in the goal mouth. -
Always had a little soft spot for Derby, like Pride Park. There were a lot of potential banana skins with this game, not least the pace and three debuts. Good result. LaBemba - Solid Shelvey - Solid Ritchie - A Beaut -also another mention for his great partnership with Vurnon. They look good and work solidly together. Likewise Dummett and Gouffran. Diame - Showed some beautiful skills and perseverance today Back to Gouffran - Got the goal his performances have deserved. Sels - Another confidence boost, was never really troubled and will grow in confidence Talking - Great talking all over the pitch - from Ritchie, Anita to Lascelles and Mbemba lots of talking to each other. The former two were beckoning the team not to sit back and push up which was great to see. Negatives Colback didn't play horrifically and will start again soon. (happy to repost until we see some consistent improvement) Gayle/top striker - Still Isolated for most of the game, which is going to be the case with these tactics. The defensive sit back - I know thats the Benitez way to go cautious but it doesn't make for comfortable viewing. Lucky the players are clearly drilled and switched on (mostly)
-
Had a good game did the bald eagle. Very well drilled performance again from Rafa's team. I worry with soaking up too much pressure but that's Rafa's deal. Difference with Rafa's team to Pardew's doing it is that all the players are working hard for each other, covering each other and understand the tactics.
