If he had already signed for us, i doubt anyone would give a toss.
-
probably stems from their boss asking them where there scoop for tmrw's paper is two hours before it goes to press.. just page fillers, if it was in anyway important you think someone would be checking to make sure they didnt look like tits.

Where is that turkish gadgy that was convinced he was signing for Inter, and Newcastle wouldnt even come into his thinking? Dissapointing we havent wanted to take a punt on him, but Giuly would probably be a better bet, plus he is good on either wing, whilst Tuncay is more left sided, good signing for Boro though, will be interesting to see how he does. That said we might not be interested in getting anyone for those positions.

So Baines is 5"8 and will cost £5m Shorey is 5"9 and will cost £5m And we arent interested in Baines because he will cost too much and is too short?? Bloody tabloids

lost in translation

If he is truly after Giuly it might explain a few things.

Done and dusted for Boro apparently.

Mark Viduka signs for Newcastle - 2 years + 1 more optional

Over the shock and into the denial stage I see... http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1780_2285181,00.html -
Downing has a sister? or just puts a wig on?

Robinson's w***. Would love Baines though. Best English player on the field tonight, btw. Cool, ive seen next to nothing of him this season, but saw we have been linked to him here and there over the past couple of months.

Who is he trying to convince with this statement, looks more like himself than anything else. If the smogs sell Yakubu to pompey they will be in trouble next season, no doubt. That said if they manage to snare Tuncay and Castelen they wont have done to bad. Actually think the scum might stay up this time, although there are plenty of other sides that will struggle next season, Wigan, Reading, Fulham, Derby, birmingham, Man City. Will be an interesting year.
-
Would anyone take Paul Robinson as his replacement. Provided we signed Baines as first choice?
-
dont think he would be a bad singing, like Tuncay will only enhance the squad for little outlay. Tough on the likes of Milner and N'Zog though.
-
Agree with Gazza ladra, although id rather see them both gone, id sooner see Carr out on his ear than baba. They both go through phases (when the do actually manage to stay fit for a couple of games) of playing steadily enough to make you think they arent that bad, could be decent back up. But then they fall foul of another "injury". Carr is just more detestable for me. But getting one of them out is a start, hopefully Carr will follow.

People are getting mixed up, they have signed Mick Harford.
-
Rather have Anelka.

Tuncay to spurs makes complete sense.

Like when Chelsea were in for him before and he rubbished it and said he wanted to stay? Bottom line is we took a huge risk on getting Owen here, his agents rightly screwed us over and we were the mugs that accepted their demands, as we were shitting it we would lose out to Liverpool or someone else. Back then it would have seemed less of a risk, from then to now everyone at the club would have thought he would have been our top goalscorer both seasons and enjoying his life up here. All that time out has certainly given him time to think about what he wants to do. Personally like quite a few others on here, im convinced none of the big clubs will touch him until at least January until he has either proven himself back to his best and injury free, or the opposite. Of course everyone would love to keep him if he came out and said he was staying, but im not going to cry if he leaves. He will get some quality abuse though upon his return, and with a bit of luck a shiner courtesy or Wor Al.

The guy is an Arsehole of the highest order. Be legendary if Roeder came out now and said "I dont have a fucking clue what your talking about graeme, but the club certainly had bigger problems when i took over than when i first got to the club."

Its ok folks, we are back in the game... http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=42951 Think parky has been telling porky pies to tribal football again... seriously i dont know how they get away with making so much shit up on there, according to them we are in talks with Bellamy, Ben-Haim and Young.
-
Not adversed to a part exchange if Owen really wants to go, but I wouldnt encourage it either, much rather keep Owen, just not if he doesnt want to stay. We need players that actually want to play for us afterall. Mind you we could probably use the money to buy Anelka.. Bellamy/Anelka.. you choose.

Allardyce interested in Luke Young ... Barton deal could fall through
toontownman replied to KaKa's topic in Football
Defensively better than both, if he is on. Better player than Solano all round, not for me. -
Taylor, Rosenhal, Ben-Haim, Brown would be a decent pool of players for next season. infinately better than what we have been used to. All four are versatile aswell, so they can happily slot into spaces if there are any. Baines was on cracking form for the U21's last week, I will be very happy if we can get him here. Add a decent RB then fullback cover and we are ready to roll!

Really not inspired by Luke Young, an improvement on Carr, Granted, but not any better than Taylor at RB let alone Solano. If we sack Carr off, bring in Young and a First choice RB aswell, ok.. but Im not a fan of Young at all. On his better days he is average. -
I cant agree with that, Martins is a different player to Bellamy, like Viduka is to Sibierski, a player who personally i think is superior to Bellamy. Like Viduka is to Sibierski. I dont think going back for a player that is not as good allround or in terms of goalscoring is anything less than a backwards step, much like getting Sibierski back would be. Granted the gap inbetween Bellamy and Martins isnt as big as Sibbers and Viduka. But I would fail to see the point in selling someone that has scored more than Bellamy ever has in one season. I understand peoples frustrations with the lad at times, but given some decent coaching, his age, the fact he will actually be prepared for the premiership next season. They sky is the limit with the guy. You know why your getting with Bellamy, if anything he has gone down hill since being with us, and for me he isnt worth the trouble off the pitch.
