For he age he is incredible. To think he is nowhere near finished developing is wild. Seen very few defenders as good as him in a black and white shirt. Two (Woodgate and colo) since I've been supporting. It's a pinch myself moment we got him really.

It was mainly trying to play deep lying play maker. He didn't have the long passing accuracy through the middle today. He did well enough but there isn't real leadership in the middle that comes from him, willock or longstaff. They don't give up but they don't generally dictate and lead from the middle.

The next part of the season is a brand new test for our squad. The toughest one. Good thing our lads like challenges. We are tired and have been in a rut for a while with creating those last quality balls and finishes. We have great build up. We are due a sound beating of someone. Thought it would be today but we defaulted and took our foot off the pedal. Sides are also starting to manage our attacks and sit deep, double up. Gordon looks like a positive addition. It won't be long before he displaces ASM. Bruno obviously was a big miss. Not having isak to come on too.

More than a bit frustrating. Silly goal to concede. We look tired. Having the likes of Targett and Isak back in, even Ashby might be very important If we have any chance of sustaining in the league. We just have too small a squad in terms of quality to have injures to our best players. One third of our PL squad are effectively useless to us in this league and where we want to be.

Make sure when you pass its too our players. Job done.
