Getting annoyed by this bleeping now. 5 minutes to bloody go, come on.

Deportivo wont announce he's signed, and let him do a farewell press conference if he wasn't going to sign. Can only assume we've bid for both (if true). Wasn't very impressed by Kaboul last season, mind.

I must say though, it shows that he (or Vetere/Jiminez) are actually doing something in London I guess. Seems like we're trying to baulk up our reserves with a bit of foriegn talent.

Not a bad looking team, in all honesty. Stick Owen and Colloccini in there too, and its not looking bad.

New assault to a PALE BLUE. After Marcello Trotta, the attacker quindicenne 'kidnapped' in Naples from Manchester City, Newcastle is the time to groped another boy of Naples: Crescenzo Liccardo, central midfielder Students national trained by Ivan Faustinho. Seventeen years in May last year, Giugliano, the fourth year of accountancy, Liccardo has long been courted by the British who followed often in the championship. And as it is an under 18, could go abroad freely, with Napoli forced to accept compensation and go on. But Crescenzo Liccardo is fought. In fact, in truth, says his father, Nicola, 'his dream is Naples. He was born PALE BLUE, is seven years who is with Napoli, there remained even after the failure of society and wants to continue to stay ". But? "But if the Naples knows that not everything makes the contract also entitled to a chance. Even if - adds dad Liccardo - for us and also for him is the first school and then the ball. In short, Naples warned. Liccardo has done nothing hidden. Indeed, the Naples has requested an appointment and should meet just after August. But what and how many "temptations English? A Liccardo the emissaries of Newcastle have offered a three-year contract that exceeds the total of half a million euros. And in addition, of course, school, convicts, assistance. A beautiful temptation, there is no doubt, but ensures Crescenzo: "At the top of my wish remains the Naples however. Against the market for children, you know, the clubs have no defenses. But this history, even at the request of the Italian Football Federation, should find its end in 2009. He promised Platini, president dell'Uefa, announcing only a couple of weeks ago that by next year the European Commission will launch a directive that will prevent the transfer abroad of players with less than 18 years. (The Morning) Hmmm! Slightly better translation anyway. Central midfielder.

Yeah, getting a bit annoying now, I must say.

Who is he?!! Tabloid hack that knows fuck all. Not overly true. I'd trust him over most ITK's we get around here. Great news if true. Shame it didn't work out for him though.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3942640,00.html Deportivo La Coruna have announced that Fabricio Coloccini has completed his switch to Newcastle. The Magpies have been tracking the Argentine defender for some time and announced earlier this week that talks were at 'an advanced stage'. Coloccini is looking to leave Depor and had threatened to invoke Article 17 in Fifa's regulations in order to walk out on the Galician club. And Depor have now claimed that the 26-year-old has officially joined Newcastle. A statement on the Spanish club's official website read: "Real Club Deportivo and Newcastle have this evening (Wednesday) sealed the transfer of Fabricio Coloccini to the English club. "Both clubs had come to a verbal agreement last week, but today it was signed in writing." No confirmation Speaking after Newcastle's 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, manager Kevin Keegan did not confirm the arrival of Coloccini. However, he admitted he was very confident of strengthening his squad before the close of the transfer window. To me thats not a denial, just not a confirmation

If its just been completed then, would he have even been briefed? How odd.
-
I think we should do a sweepstake on how long it'll take SSN to get hold of this story. I'm going for 23:44 *edit* Keegans just denied they've completed the signing??
-
Keegan wasnt that convincing actually. Just said "I don't know" on his future, didn't he?
-
Ruled out by Keegan, had a knock tonight.
