Thats a legal link btw. Also, if it doesnt work, have a play with the performance options in settings. Worked for me, but only after 2 goals! A Windows Media Digital Rights Management (DRM) component encountered a problem. If you are trying to use a file that you obtained from an online store, try going to the online store and getting the appropriate usage rights. What does the above even MEAN?! ARGH! Are you logged into your nufctv account in IE, with cookies on?

Is that the company who said they were doing promotional work with us?

I am getting rather impatient to be honest now.

Bit harsh on Edgar? didn't think he was too bad. He just didn't offering anything going forward on the right flank. Which is fair enough considering he isn't a RB. Bassong looked promising, and with Coloccini in, and Faye/Beye back, we shouldn't be too bad next year at the back. Bassong is supposedly comfortable at left-back too, which is handy. Desperately need a creative midfielder now, though

Who the fuck made Frank Gilmore the supposed voice for us? What a moron. Ashley’s public pronouncements have been rare since he arrived at Newcastle, but the latest takeover talk has prompted calls for a change of ways. “It’s high time he spoke out to clarify the situation,” said Frank Gilmour, chairman of the Newcastle United Independent Supporters’ Association. “If he wants to stay and turn Newcastle into a successful club then that’s great and he should come out and say something sooner rather than later. The same applies if he has decided he wants to sell up.” He added: “I’d like to see the uncertainty removed. My main concern is if he is going to sell the club, that it ends up in the hands of people who are determined to turn us into a successful club.”

Holy fucking shit, this coverage is terrible. So we had a bid of Coloccini turned down? No progress since

No, starts in a minute.

This is going to be funny.

There was a story the other day about us being interested but I didn't put much stock in it because it was short on detail and came from somewhere like tribalfootball. Possible. Do you need a centre-back?
-
Honestly can't remember :$ Quite sure they were tabloids though. One was a backpage headline with a main story inside, the other was just inside. Said about being unsettled and wanting a return to the north west.

2 papers today said Faye had handed in a transfer request. Not spotted that mentioned on here anywhere yet.

Just posted this on the blog... "What a great story.. One question though - why didn't he sell after the previous 10 storys or so you published about it? Was this published purely because Rob Shepherd couldn't get away with having an article bashing Joey Barton instead (imagine the hypocrisy!), and needed something equally crap to publish?" Assume they won't publish that comment though.

I believe the times and star, although it was 4 hours ago now I went through them all. Looks like they were taken from a bigger interview I've yet to find as both papers had slightly different parts.

Quotes in today papers from him. Says he'll be a hit here, we have a great coach, great ambition and he's confident the deal will go through.

Its the Martins article - at the bottom.

Tommorows Times; Newcastle have finally reached agreement with Deportivo La Coruña over the signing of Fabricio Coloccini, who will become Keegan’s fourth addition of a frustrating close-season. After a long stand-off with the Spanish club, the 26-year-old Argentina international will cost Newcastle €12 million (about £9.5 million), a club-record fee for a defender. Marcelo Lombilla, Coloccini’s agent, had threatened to report the La Liga club to Fifa over their handling of the transfer, accusing Augusto Lendoiro, the Deportivo president, of demanding more money when a settlement had already been negotiated. “There is an agreement between Deportivo and Newcastle,” Lombilla confirmed to Spanish radio last night. Coloccini, who joined Deportivo from AC Milan in 2004, has been capped 27 times by his country and will join Jonas Gutiérrez, his compatriot, on Tyneside. Keegan has also signed Danny Guthrie from Liverpool and Sébastien Bassong from Metz, although the manager has described the latter as “one for the future”. The manager still hopes to sign a left back, with Stephen Warnock, of Blackburn Rovers, the subject of two failed bids. :D http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/newcastle/article4446654.ece

They did charge him. Well, of bringing the game into disrepute. .... Carry on! Huh? I'm just saying they did come back to Keane after he admitted it like two years later: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/2236929.stm I know, I was trying to let my comment pass quickly
